Jacksonville Jaguars 14, Atlanta Falcons 41
33Playing on a short week is tough, but it's even tougher for the road team. The Falcons got their passing game cranked up in the second half against the Panthers, and I look for more of the same here. Matt Ryan will light up a secondary with two rookie starters. Falcons big.
Result: Atlanta Falcons 41, Jacksonville Jaguars 14

Dallas Cowboys 31, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 15
28The Cowboys are in a spot where they can't afford another loss. The Bucs are just hoping for a victory to snap their seven-game losing streak. Can't see that happening. Dallas will put up some good offensive numbers against a Bucs defense that is struggling. DeMarcus Ware spends the night in the Tampa Bay backfield.
Result: Dallas Cowboys 31, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 15

Miami Dolphins 30, Buffalo Bills 23
26With Matt Moore hurt, J.P. Losman most likely will start at quarterback against his former team. The Bills have taken a nosedive the past six weeks. But I think this is a spot where they bounce back. The Dolphins can't be motivated much here -- coach Tony Sparano was fired and they're heading for cold weather. Bills get it.
Result: Buffalo Bills 23, Miami Dolphins 30
17
Seattle Seahawks 38, Chicago Bears 14
20Both these teams are fighting for their playoff lives. Loser is probably done, which makes this like a playoff game. The Bears have really struggled to score points since Jay Cutler was lost with a thumb injury. Caleb Hanie just can't get it going. But the Bears can still play defense and being at home they will do enough -- maybe a Devin Hester punt return -- to find a way here.
Result: Chicago Bears 14, Seattle Seahawks 38
13
Carolina Panthers 28, Houston Texans 13
30The Texans have clinched the division, but they are playing for a top seed. That keeps them focused. This will be a battle of rookie passers: T.J. Yates for the Texans and Cam Newton for the Panthers. Yates has been a pleasant surprise after taking over three weeks ago. The Panthers are 29th in yards allowed per play. Look for Yates and his running game to have success against that defense. Yates wins his third consecutive start.
Result: Houston Texans 13, Carolina Panthers 28
20
Tennessee Titans 13, Indianapolis Colts 27
21The Titans need this game to have any real chance at a wild-card spot. The problem is it will likely be Jake Locker's first start. Rookie quarterbacks starting on the road can be troubling. It's a good thing it's the Colts. Even so, I see the Colts making this a tight one. Titans win it, but it's close.
Result: Tennessee Titans 13, Indianapolis Colts 27
20
Green Bay Packers 14, Kansas City Chiefs 19
30The Packers are playing for home-field advantage here. If they win this game, they are the NFC's top seed. The Chiefs saw coach Todd Haley fired last week, with defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel taking over. This is a tough week to do that. Green Bay is rolling, and they continue to do so here. It might be rookie Ricky Stanzi starting for the Chiefs against Aaron Rodgers. Even so, how focused will the Packers be here. They win, but not be a ton.
Result: Green Bay Packers 14, Kansas City Chiefs 19
20
New Orleans Saints 42, Minnesota Vikings 20
28The Saints are playing back-to-back road games, which is always a concern. They pulled one out last week at Tennessee, but they didn't look great in doing so. This is a be-careful game. Even so, I look for Drew Brees to light up a Minnesota pass defense that is 26th in the league. But Minnesota stays around against a Saints defense that is vulnerable.
Result: New Orleans Saints 42, Minnesota Vikings 20
23
Washington Redskins 23, NY Giants 10
31The Giants seemed to find something in Dallas last Sunday night and now control their destiny to a division title. They lost to Washington earlier in the year, but this Giants team appears ready to make a run. The Redskins had problems stopping Tom Brady last week, and they will have the same problems with Eli Manning. Look for the Giants to get after Rex Grossman. This will be ugly.
Result: NY Giants 10, Washington Redskins 23
14
Cincinnati Bengals 20, St. Louis Rams 13
23It's hard to believe the Rams are the same team we saw last season. Injuries have crippled this team. The offense is horrible. Cincinnati is good on defense, and that will show up here. The Bengals have lost four of five, so they need this to have any real playoff chance. They get it.
Result: Cincinnati Bengals 20, St. Louis Rams 13
13
Detroit Lions 28, Oakland Raiders 27
27The Raiders have lost back-to-back road games and have really looked bad doing so. Can they get back on track? The Lions are having big problems on defense, and I think the Raiders make them pay for that. Detroit is 27th against the run. Michael Bush has a big day for the Raiders.
Result: Oakland Raiders 27, Detroit Lions 28
20
Cleveland Browns 17, Arizona Cardinals 20
23The Cardinals have improved greatly on defense, which is why they are still in the wild-card hunt. The Browns really struggle on offense. That's a bad mix here. If Arizona doesn't have a letdown after beating San Francisco, they win easily. I don't think they will let down.
Result: Arizona Cardinals 20, Cleveland Browns 17
10
New England Patriots 41, Denver Broncos 23
27The last time the Broncos played an offense close to being as good as New England's, Detroit blew them out. But the Denver defense is much improved since then. Even so, I look for Tom Brady to come in and put up big numbers. The Broncos have kept games close in their six-game winning streak, but this time Tim Tebow will be asked to do too much. Brady and the Patriots take it, despite the Patriots being 2-12 in Denver.
Result: New England Patriots 41, Denver Broncos 23
17
NY Jets 19, Philadelphia Eagles 45
28The Eagles are still alive. Can you believe it? That will keep them focused here and make for a tough time for the Jets. Mike Vick is good when the other team isn't great at rushing the passer. The Jets aren't. The Jets have righted things the past couple of weeks, but I look for the Eagles to play inspired football here. Vick and LeSean McCoy have big days.
Result: Philadelphia Eagles 45, NY Jets 19
23
Baltimore Ravens 14, San Diego Chargers 34
27The Chargers have won back-to-back games, and actually have a chance to win the division. They have been a different offense the past two weeks with Malcom Floyd back in the lineup. But the Ravens are a step up in terms of defense. Even so, this is a long trip and the last time the Ravens went to the West Coast, they lost to the Seahawks. They lose this one as Philip Rivers continues his hot hand.
Result: San Diego Chargers 34, Baltimore Ravens 14

Pittsburgh Steelers 3, San Francisco 49ers 20
21This is a big game for both teams. The 49ers' loss to the Cardinals last week means they now have to win out to assure the No. 2 seed. The Steelers need it to keep pace with the Ravens in the division. This one should be a defensive struggle since both units are in the NFL's top five. The key here is Ben Roethlisberger's health. Does he play? If he does, how effective will he be with a bad ankle? I say he plays. But I think the 49ers find a way to win this one.
Result: San Francisco 49ers 20, Pittsburgh Steelers 3
