Atlanta Falcons 31, Detroit Lions 18
31The Falcons can clinch the top seed with a victory here. But it won't be easy. The Lions were awful on the road last week, but this is at home in front of a national television audience. And they can throw it around. They will play hard. But Atlanta's receivers are too much for the Lions secondary.
Result: Atlanta Falcons 31, Detroit Lions 18
28

Oakland Raiders 6, Carolina Panthers 17
30The Panthers are flying high on offense and Oakland, despite what they did against the Chiefs, has issues on defense. Look for a big game from Cam Newton against an Oakland defense that can't be focused here. Blowout.
Result: Carolina Panthers 17, Oakland Raiders 6
14
New Orleans Saints 34, Dallas Cowboys 31
37This is the Sean Payton Bowl. Do the Saints really want to win? It could mean the Cowboys job comes open, and Payton goes there. Dallas will have problems with the Saints offense, but I think the Cowboys will score as well. Should be fun to watch. Tony Romo outduels Drew Brees.
Result: Dallas Cowboys 31, New Orleans Saints 34
30
Tennessee Titans 7, Green Bay Packers 55
34The Packers are trying to get a first-round bye, so they are playing for something. The Titans are on a short week and have long been out of it. They also have defensive issues. Look for a lot of big plays by the Packers. Aaron Rodgers is gearing up for the playoffs.
Result: Green Bay Packers 55, Tennessee Titans 7
17
Minnesota Vikings 23, Houston Texans 6
27The Texans are fighting to lock down the top seed in the AFC, so they are playing for something. The Vikings are playing for a playoff berth, so they have more motivation. But two consecutive road games and a poor passing attack are tough to overcome against the Texans.
Result: Houston Texans 6, Minnesota Vikings 23
15
New England Patriots 23, Jacksonville Jaguars 16
38This will be ugly. The Patriots have to be angry after losing at home to the 49ers. And the Jaguars aren't good on defense. Tom Brady will do what he wants when he wants. This will be repulsive for the Jaguars.
Result: New England Patriots 23, Jacksonville Jaguars 16
13
Indianapolis Colts 20, Kansas City Chiefs 13
28The Colts can lock up a playoff spot with a victory. The Chiefs have packed it in. Indianapolis is playing a second consecutive road game, but it won't matter here. The Colts get into the playoffs.
Result: Indianapolis Colts 20, Kansas City Chiefs 13
16
Buffalo Bills 10, Miami Dolphins 24
21How motivated will the Bills be? They looked lifeless last week and now must go on the road to face a Dolphins team that is still playing hard. Miami takes it.
Result: Miami Dolphins 24, Buffalo Bills 10
17
Washington Redskins 27, Philadelphia Eagles 20
28Will it be Robert Griffin III for the Redskins or Kirk Cousins again? Does it matter? Of course it does. This won't be an easy game for the Redskins. The Eagles aren't good, but they will get up here. Redskins take it, but it's close.
Result: Washington Redskins 27, Philadelphia Eagles 20
27
Cincinnati Bengals 13, Pittsburgh Steelers 10
25This is the game of the week with huge playoff implications. The Bengals have had big problems with the Steelers, but this is a different Cincinnati team. It can get after Ben Roethlisberger, and it will. Cincinnati is the better team right now. Upset special.
Result: Cincinnati Bengals 13, Pittsburgh Steelers 10
23
St. Louis Rams 28, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 13
24These two were eliminated last week, so where's the motivation? Did the Bucs quit on Greg Schiano last week? You know Jeff Fisher's team will be ready to go. But I think Tampa Bay bounces back at home. It's tough going on the road late with nothing at stake.
Result: Tampa Bay Buccaneers 13, St. Louis Rams 28
17
San Diego Chargers 27, NY Jets 17
20Greg McElroy will start at quarterback for the Jets. It's the right move. Why not see what he can do? San Diego looked to pack it in at home last week, and now they have a long trip east. Good luck with that. The Jets win a game that doesn't matter to anybody not named McElroy or Ryan.
Result: NY Jets 17, San Diego Chargers 27
14
Cleveland Browns 12, Denver Broncos 34
30The Broncos are trying to get a first-round bye, so they are playing for something. The Browns are not. This is Denver's first home game in three weeks. Look for it to show off for the home crowd, Peyton Manning lighting up the Browns.
Result: Denver Broncos 34, Cleveland Browns 12
17
NY Giants 14, Baltimore Ravens 33
27This is a must-win for the Giants, but they are playing back-to-back road games, which is tough. Baltimore has lost three consecutive games and isn't playing well at all. The Giants are good in this spot, where they have to have it. Watch them here.
Result: NY Giants 14, Baltimore Ravens 33
21
Chicago Bears 28, Arizona Cardinals 13
20The Bears need this to have any real chance to get into the playoffs. But they are not playing well. Arizona showed some life last week against the Lions and that will continue here. They get all over Jay Cutler, but the Bears will find a way.
Result: Chicago Bears 28, Arizona Cardinals 13
17
San Francisco 49ers 13, Seattle Seahawks 42
21The Seahawks are rolling on offense. But the 49ers defense is tough to beat. Seattle's defense is right there with them. This will come down to the two young quarterbacks. At home, I think Russell Wilson gets the better of it. Seattle gets closer to the 49ers in the division race.
Result: Seattle Seahawks 42, San Francisco 49ers 13
