MATCHUP SCORE ANALYSIS

Denver
Broncos
23
The Broncos should have Trevor Siemian back under center, and thatís a good thing. San Diego has blown leads in all four losses and coach Mike McCoy is said to be on thin ice. This could be a job-saver for him. But the Broncos will bounce back from their first loss with a road victory.
Result: Denver Broncos 13, San Diego Chargers 21
San Diego
Chargers

Buffalo
Bills
27
The 49ers are making a change at quarterback and going with Colin Kaepernick. Plus they must take a long trip for an early start. Thatís not easy. They also face a Buffalo team that has played well the past few weeks. The running game has come alive for the Bills, and I think that continues here.
Result: Buffalo Bills 45, San Francisco 49ers 16
San Francisco
49ers

Jacksonville
Jaguars
24
The Jaguars are coming off their bye and face a Bears team with a quarterback controversy. Jacksonville seemed to get things in gear in London when they beat the Colts, and I think that will carry over. The young defenders continue to grow. Upset.
Result: Jacksonville Jaguars 17, Chicago Bears 16
Chicago
Bears
20

Detroit
Lions
21
Was that a reality check for the Rams losing at home to the Bills? They have defensive injuries, but the problem is the quarterback. Heís not good enough. The Lions can get to .500 here with a victory, and I think they will.
Result: Detroit Lions 31, Los Angeles Rams 28
Los Angeles
Rams
17

Pittsburgh
Steelers
33
The Dolphins have major issues on both sides of the ball. The Steelers are rolling on offense. Thatís not a good thing for Miami. Look for Ben Roethlisberger to have another big day here. Blowout.
Result: Pittsburgh Steelers 15, Miami Dolphins 30
Miami
Dolphins
17

New England
Patriots
31
The Bengals are playing consecutive road games, and this is against the best team in the AFC. That makes it tougher. But if the Bengals are to turn their season back on track, they have to find a way here. I just donít think they can. Tom Brady plays big again.
Result: New England Patriots 35, Cincinnati Bengals 17
Cincinnati
Bengals
27

New Orleans
Saints
33
Cam Newton will be back in what is essentially a game to save their season. They are 1-4 and clearly have looked nothing like the team that went to the Super Bowl in January. The Saints are coming off a bye and beat San Diego two weeks ago. I think that carries over against a Panthers team that has defensive issues.
Result: New Orleans Saints 41, Carolina Panthers 38
Carolina
Panthers
30

New York
Giants
31
The Ravens fired offensive coordinator Marc Trestman this week to try and liven up the offense. But itís tough to do on the road. The Giants are home after two tough road losses and I think they will get back on track here. Eli Manning has a big day.
Result: NY Giants 27, Baltimore Ravens 23
Baltimore
Ravens
21

Philadelphia
Eagles
30
This is a big NFC East game with Dallas off to the fast start. The Eagles are playing consecutive road games, even if this is a short trip. I think that helps. They are the better team. Their defense shuts down the Redskins here.
Result: Philadelphia Eagles 20, Washington Redskins 27
Washington
Redskins
17

Tennessee
Titans
21
The Titans looked like what coach Mike Mularkey wanted last week against the Dolphins, running the football with power. They will continue that here against a Browns team ranked 20th against the run. Exotic Smashmouth wins again.
Result: Tennessee Titans 28, Cleveland Browns 26
Cleveland
Browns
13

Oakland
Raiders
21
The Chiefs come off their bye with a big road game at Oakland. The Raiders are 4-1 and in first place in the division, but their defense has struggled. The Chiefs donít have a great offense, ranking 22nd, so itís not that big an issue here. Raiders win a tight one.
Result: Oakland Raiders 10, Kansas City Chiefs 26
Kansas City
Chiefs
20

Green Bay
Packers
24
This is a big road test for Dak Prescott. With all the talk that he might need to stay on as the starter when Tony Romo returns, this will be telling. The Packers still havenít looked themselves on offense, but I think they will find a way to slow Dallas here. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers take it.
Result: Green Bay Packers 16, Dallas Cowboys 30
Dallas
Cowboys
17

Seattle
Seahawks
27
This is a brutal second consecutive road game for the Falcons. They won at Denver, but now face a Seattle team coming off a bye. Thatís a bad combination. The Falcons' defense looked much better last week, but can they do it two weeks in a row? I donít think so. Seattle takes it.
Result: Seattle Seahawks 26, Atlanta Falcons 24
Atlanta
Falcons
14

Houston
Texans
27
Hard to believe, but this is a big early season division game. The Colts won last week, but they still have issues. The Texans looked awful last Sunday against the Vikings, but they have won all three of their home games. They will get it back on track here.
Result: Houston Texans 26, Indianapolis Colts 23
Indianapolis
Colts

Arizona
Cardinals
28
The Jets are reeling at 1-4 and now face a second straight road game. The Cardinals should have Carson Palmer back this week after he missed last Thursdayís game with a concussion. Jets coach Todd Bowles faces his former team here, but it doesnít matter. His team has issues. Cardinals take it.
Result: Arizona Cardinals 28, NY Jets 3
New York
Jets
16
