Baltimore Ravens 38, Denver Broncos 35
21The Ravens were riding high off the emotion of Ray Lewis' retirement news last week, but that's not in play here. And this is a tough trip to a tough place to play. Oh, by the way, Peyton Manning is waiting and rested. The Broncos beat the Ravens in Baltimore earlier this season, handling them with ease. I see it happening again. The Baltimore pass defense doesn't have the rushers to get after Manning. He will sit back and carve them to pieces. That will put a lot of pressure on Joe Flacco to keep up. I don't think he can. The Broncos have great cover players, and they have great pass rushers in Elvis Dumervil and Von Miller. They will get after Flacco in a big way. Ray Rice could take some of that pressure off, and the Broncos aren't great against the run, but Denver will score often and up the pace. Manning has owned the Ravens in his career, and it continues here. Ray Lewis is sent to retirement.
Result: Denver Broncos 35, Baltimore Ravens 38

Green Bay Packers 31, San Francisco 49ers 45
27The Packers lost to the 49ers at home in the opener, but these teams are a lot different now. The Packers are healthy, while the 49ers are now starting Colin Kaepernick at quarterback. This is his first playoff start. That's tough. At least it's at home. But the problem will be when he is forced to keep up with Aaron Rodgers. Yes, I said that. Even though the 49ers are good on defense, look what Tom Brady did to them a few weeks ago. I think Rodgers can have that type of game spreading them out. Look for big games by Randall Cobb and Jermichael Finley. The 49ers will counter with a lot of Frank Gore, which is their strong point. But that won't be enough against Rodgers on this day. The playoffs are about great quarterbacks. Rodgers reminds us of that as the Packers take it in an upset.
Result: Green Bay Packers 31, San Francisco 49ers 45

Seattle Seahawks 28, Atlanta Falcons 30
17The Seahawks did some good things against the Redskins winning last week. But this is a big step up in terms of opponent. The Falcons earned the top seed for a reason. Yet nobody is giving them the respect they've earned. That's because this regime has yet to win a playoff game. That shouldn’t matter. What does matter is that they can pass the ball better than any Falcons team that has lost in the playoffs. I think Matt Ryan and his outside receivers will have plenty of options down the field against Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner. They can win those battles. On the other side, Russell Wilson played well last week but now must do it inside against a better team. Atlanta will try and take away Marshawn Lynch and make Wilson beat them. I think he will have some success, but I think this is Ryan's night. He puts his playoff demons to rest.
Result: Atlanta Falcons 30, Seattle Seahawks 28

Houston Texans 28, New England Patriots 41
23The Texans scored 19 points against the Bengals. That won't be good enough against the Patriots. New England will get their points with Tom Brady. The last time, the Pats lit up the Texans. Brady threw four touchdown passes. It won't be as bad as that game, but I can't see the Houston pass defense, which has struggled against good quarterbacks, having a good day against Brady. J.J. Watt can't do it alone. On the flip side, the Texans' passing game is struggling. Matt Schaub just doesn't look like the same passer he was early in the season. The Texans will pound Arian Foster to try and keep Brady off the field, but that's a dangerous formula. They have to be able to keep up with the New England offense, and I'm not sure they can. Brady advances to another AFC title game with a big night against the Texans.
Result: New England Patriots 41, Houston Texans 28
