Cleveland Browns 16, Baltimore Ravens 23
23The Ravens are playing on a short week, which will help the Browns. I just don't see how the Ravens will be as focused here against the Browns after that emotional game last week against the Patriots. For that reason, I think the Browns keep it close.
Result: Baltimore Ravens 23, Cleveland Browns 16

Carolina Panthers 28, Atlanta Falcons 30
33The Panthers didn't play well in losing to the Giants last Thursday, and there is talk the league has figured out Cam Newton. Don't know if that's true, but he isn't playing well. The Panthers have major issues in their secondary and they aren't doing a great job rushing the quarterback. Look for Matt Ryan to continue his hot start as the Falcons keep rolling.
Result: Atlanta Falcons 30, Carolina Panthers 28
21
New England Patriots 52, Buffalo Bills 28
29This is a huge game for the Bills. They can get to 3-1 with a victory and get a big lead on the Patriots. New England is playing consecutive road games, which is tough. And coming off the Ravens loss, they will be stewing. Tom Brady has a way of flourishing when his team is down. He does it again here.
Result: New England Patriots 52, Buffalo Bills 28
21
Minnesota Vikings 20, Detroit Lions 13
23The Lions are home after two straight on the road. They return with a defense that is 25th in yards per play. The key here will be whether Matt Stafford can go. If he can't, Shaun Hill is a capable backup, but he's not Stafford. For that reason, it stays close.
Result: Detroit Lions 13, Minnesota Vikings 20
16
Tennessee Titans 14, Houston Texans 38
27The Texans are riding high and they are home for the first time since the opener. They are the best team in the NFL right now. But the Titans are coming off a wild victory over Detroit. The Titans are 31st in total defense. That's not good against the Texans and their power running game. Houston keeps rolling.
Result: Houston Texans 38, Tennessee Titans 14
21
San Diego Chargers 37, Kansas City Chiefs 20
30The Chargers lost for the first time last week, getting blown out by the Falcons. The Chiefs rallied to beat the Saints. With a victory here, the Chiefs would tie for the division lead. I just see too many defensive problems for Kansas City. Philip Rivers will get it going after an off week against Atlanta. San Diego takes a tough road victory.
Result: San Diego Chargers 37, Kansas City Chiefs 20
23
San Francisco 49ers 34, NY Jets 0
21This is a second consecutive road trip for the 49ers. That's tough to do. But Jim Harbaugh's team is tough-minded. They will be ready for a fight. The Jets lost Darrelle Revis, but that won't show up much here. The 49ers don't throw down the field much. The key will be their running game. And it's tough to run on the Jets. The home team takes it.
Result: NY Jets 0, San Francisco 49ers 34
20
Seattle Seahawks 13, St. Louis Rams 19
20Seattle is coming off the Monday night game riding high thanks to the officiating fiasco. What was lost in that mess was how well their defense played and how poorly their offense played. That can work at home. It won't work on the road. I think the Rams in the dome win a tight defensive game.
Result: St. Louis Rams 19, Seattle Seahawks 13
17
Miami Dolphins 21, Arizona Cardinals 24
17Can you believe the Cardinals are 3-0? You can if you watch that defense. It is impressive. But the Cardinals are 17th in rushing yards allowed per play. The Miami offense is sixth in rushing yards per play on offense. That's with Reggie Bush, who probably won't play here. Can the other backs pick up the slack? The Arizona offense will also keep this low scoring. It's tight.
Result: Arizona Cardinals 24, Miami Dolphins 21
14
Oakland Raiders 6, Denver Broncos 37
32Denver has lost two consecutive games to open up the questions as to whether Peyton Manning is back. The Broncos did lose to the two best teams right now. The Raiders won for the first time last week, but they still have issues on defense. I think Manning gets it rolling against the Oakland secondary that is 26th in yards per passing play.
Result: Denver Broncos 37, Oakland Raiders 6
23
Cincinnati Bengals 27, Jacksonville Jaguars 10
27The Bengals are playing consecutive road games outside the division. That's tough to do. And they do so with a defense that has struggled so far this season. The Jaguars offense is the perfect tonic. The Jaguars are 28th in offense, but you can bet they will pound Maurice Jones-Drew inside against a Bengals run defense that is 31st in the league in yards per attempt. But I don't think that's good enough to keep up with Andy Dalton and his passing game. A.J. Green has a big day.
Result: Cincinnati Bengals 27, Jacksonville Jaguars 10
17
New Orleans Saints 27, Green Bay Packers 28
37This looked like a huge game when the schedule was made. Now it might be a survival game -- loser is in big trouble. The Saints at 0-3 would be almost done with a loss. Green Bay hasn't looked right on offense, but there's nothing like the Saints defense to fix that. They are last in total defense. Aaron Rodgers lights them up.
Result: Green Bay Packers 28, New Orleans Saints 27
27
Washington Redskins 24, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 22
27Both teams have lost two consecutive games after winning their openers. Both teams have problems on defense. This looks like it could be a shootout, even with Tampa Bay struggling last week on offense. I look for the Bucs to get their passing game cranked up against a Redskins defense that is 31st against the pass. Bucs take it.
Result: Tampa Bay Buccaneers 22, Washington Redskins 24
23
NY Giants 17, Philadelphia Eagles 19
31The Eagles are having big problems with turnovers and Mike Vick is struggling. They are 2-1, but it's been an ugly 2-1. The Giants are rested after playing last Thursday against the Panthers and seemed to get things fixed on defense. This is all about Vick vs. Eli Manning. The way Manning is playing, I'll go with him.
Result: NY Giants 17, Philadelphia Eagles 19

Chicago Bears 34, Dallas Cowboys 18
23The Cowboys have done almost nothing on offense the past two weeks and now must face a wicked Chicago front. The Dallas line has to play better. The Bears are second in sacks per pass play in the league, while the Cowboys are 17th in allowing sacks per pass play. But something says Dallas will get that front blocked and Dez Bryant runs wild.
Result: Dallas Cowboys 18, Chicago Bears 34
