MATCHUP SCORE ANALYSIS
Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015

New York
Jets
23
This is the return of Rex Ryan to play his former team. You know he would love to beat them -- and then will say so loudly if he does. The Bills impressed against the Dolphins, but this Jets defense is much better than what Miami trotted out. Tyrod Taylor will have some problems getting things going, while the Jets will do enough on offense to win it.
Result: NY Jets 17, Buffalo Bills 22

Baltimore
Ravens
23
The Jaguars are playing consecutive road games, while the Ravens are coming off a bye. That's a big edge to the Ravens. But the Ravens have defensive issues and the Jaguars can score. That will help keep it close. The Ravens win a tight one.
Result: Baltimore Ravens 20, Jacksonville Jaguars 22
Jacksonville
Jaguars

Green Bay
Packers
33
The Packers have lost two straight games and they just don't look right. But those were on the road. This will be at home where Aaron Rodgers is at his best. The Lions are the perfect tonic with their bad pass defense. The Packers roll.
Result: Green Bay Packers 16, Detroit Lions 18
Detroit
Lions
18

Philadelphia
Eagles
27
The Eagles seemed to get it going last week against Dallas. That's the offense we expected to see this season. The Dolphins are playing consecutive road games. That shows up here. The Dan Campbell juice is gone.
Result: Philadelphia Eagles 19, Miami Dolphins 20
Miami
Dolphins
20

Pittsburgh
Steelers
20
The Browns get a break not facing Ben Roethlisberger, but does it really matter? The Steelers won two games when Roethlisberger was out with a knee injury. They get Landry Jones here against a bad Browns defense. Steelers take it.
Result: Pittsburgh Steelers 30, Cleveland Browns 9
Cleveland
Browns
17

24
This is consecutive road games for the Bears. That's tough. The Rams lost a tough one last week to the Vikings, but they've been good at home. The Bears will have a tough time keeping the Rams' line off Jay Cutler. That's the difference.
Result: St. Louis Rams 13, Chicago Bears 37
Chicago
Bears
20

Dallas
Cowboys
21
This is an enormous game for the Cowboys. They get Tony Romo back next week, but they are in big-time need of a victory without him. Matt Cassel was better last week, and I think that will carry over here. The Cowboys pass rush gets after Jameis Winston.
Result: Dallas Cowboys 6, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 10
Tampa Bay
Buccaneers
17

Carolina
Panthers
28
The Titans got a victory in Mike Mularkey's first game as coach, but this is a back-to-reality moment here. The emotion is gone and they have a tough Carolina team coming to their place. The Panthers are riding high and I think their defense will prove to be too much for Marcus Mariota. Panthers take it.
Result: Carolina Panthers 27, Tennessee Titans 10
Tennessee
Titans
17

New Orleans
Saints
28
The Saints suffered a bad loss last week to the Titans, and the defense remains a mess. They've allowed 10 touchdown passes in the past two games. But the Redskins aren't great throwing it. I don't think Kirk Cousins can keep up with Drew Brees.
Result: New Orleans Saints 14, Washington Redskins 47
Washington
Redskins
20

Oakland
Raiders
28
This is a major game for both teams. The Teddy Bridgewater concussion issue bears watching. But even if he plays, I still think the Raiders will win this one at home. Derek Carr continues to light it up.
Result: Oakland Raiders 14, Minnesota Vikings 30
Minnesota
Vikings
21

Denver
Broncos
31
The Chiefs are coming off the bye with a chance to get back into the wild-card mix. The Broncos lost for the first time, so expect them to be re-focused here. I think they get right after a bad Sunday against the Colts. Broncos get it.
Result: Denver Broncos 13, Kansas City Chiefs 29
Kansas City
Chiefs
21

New England
Patriots
35
The undefeated Patriots have not fared well against the Giants in recent years, but those Giants teams could rush the passer. This one isn't great at it. That means Tom Brady will carve up the secondary. The Giants and Eli Manning won't be able to keep up.
Result: New England Patriots 27, NY Giants 26
New York
Giants
24

Arizona
Cardinals
27
This is an enormous game for both teams for different reasons. The Cardinals need to show they are the real deal in the division, while the Seahawks need it to have a chance to win the division. I can't wait to see the Cardinals offense against the Seattle defense. If Arizona goes up there and attacks, they will win. I think they do.
Result: Arizona Cardinals 39, Seattle Seahawks 32
Seattle
Seahawks

Cincinnati
Bengals
31
The Texans are coming off a bye, but the Bengals will have been off for 11 days. That's close to the same thing, which negates the advantage for the Texans. Andy Dalton is playing at a high level and the Texans defense isn't that good. Bengals roll.
Result: Cincinnati Bengals 6, Houston Texans 10
Houston
Texans
17
