MATCHUP SCORE ANALYSIS
Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016

Detroit
Lions
21
This is for first place in the NFC North, a huge Thanksgiving Day game for both teams. The Vikings broke a four-game losing streak last week, while the Lions edged the Jaguars. The Vikings won with special teams and defense. That wonít be the case here. This will be close, but I like the Lions at home.
Result: Detroit Lions 16, Minnesota Vikings 13
Minnesota
Vikings
20

Dallas
Cowboys
36
This should be a high-scoring game with both teams moving the football. The Redskins are traveling on a short week, which is tough. But their offense is rolling now, much like the Cowboys. Look for a lot of points and a Dallas victory. Dak Prescott keeps winning.
Result: Dallas Cowboys 31, Washington Redskins 26
Washington
Redskins
27

Pittsburgh
Steelers
33
This is another game that might see plenty of scoring, although with Andrew Luck possibly out with a concussion that could change things. I canít see Scott Tolzien lighting up the Steelers. The Colts have won two straight to get to .500. But this is a big challenge for their defense with Ben Roethlisberger coming to town. The Steelers will get the best of it.
Result: Pittsburgh Steelers 28, Indianapolis Colts 7
Indianapolis
Colts
28

Atlanta
Falcons
27
This is a second straight road game for the Cardinals and itís against a good team coming off a bye. Add in the long trip and itís not a pretty picture for the Cardinals. It just hasnít been their season. Matt Ryan will keep it that way.
Result: Atlanta Falcons 38, Arizona Cardinals 19
Arizona
Cardinals
23

Baltimore
Ravens
27
The Bengals will be without A.J. Green, which changes their dynamic. They have issues without him. The Ravens lost to the Cowboys, but hung around on the road last week. Back home, they will put an end to the Bengalsí playoff chances.
Result: Baltimore Ravens 19, Cincinnati Bengals 14
Cincinnati
Bengals
20

Buffalo
Bills
23
The Jaguars are playing consecutive road games and playing out the string. Buffalo is still alive after beating the Bengals. That matters. The LeSean McCoy injury situation bears watching, but he should play. That matters. Bills take it.
Result: Buffalo Bills 28, Jacksonville Jaguars 21
Jacksonville
Jaguars
10

Tennessee
Titans
20
The Bears are back home after two road losses, but they are without a lot of key players, including Jay Cutler. The Titans are playing consecutive road games after losing to the Colts. I think they will overcome that here with a hard-fought tight victory against a beat-up team.
Result: Tennessee Titans 27, Chicago Bears 21
Chicago
Bears
13

New York
Giants
31
The Browns havenít won yet, and I donít expect that to happen here. The Giants have won five straight and theyíre improving on defense weekly. Look for Eli Manning to put up a big number as well.
Result: NY Giants 27, Cleveland Browns 13
Cleveland
Browns
17

Houston
Texans
21
The Chargers are coming off their bye, while Houston is playing on a short week. The Texans have offensive issues. The Chargers donít. Look for a close game, but the Texans will find a way at home like theyíve done all season.
Result: Houston Texans 13, San Diego Chargers 21
San Diego
Chargers
20

Miami
Dolphins
23
The 49ers are playing better with Colin Kaepernick, but this is a long trip against a hot team in Miami. The Dolphins have won five straight games. The 49ers canít stop the run, which will be a problem in this one. Dolphins take it.
Result: Miami Dolphins 31, San Francisco 49ers 24
San Francisco
49ers
13

New Orleans
Saints
20
Jared Goff will make his first NFL road start at quarterback for the Rams in a tough place to play. The Saints will have had 10 days off before this. The battle between Drew Brees and that Rams defense will be fun. I think he does enough.
Result: New Orleans Saints 49, Los Angeles Rams 21
Los Angeles
Rams
14

Seattle
Seahawks
24
This is a long trip for Seattle, but they are riding high. Tampa Bay has won two straight, but this is a big step up in class. Jameis Winston is playing well, but the Legion of Boom will slow him down here. Seattle takes it.
Result: Seattle Seahawks 5, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 14
Tampa Bay
Buccaneers
13

Oakland
Raiders
27
The Panthers are fighting for their playoff lives, which will show up there. Cam Newton will move the football on the Oakland defense to keep it close. The Raiders will score through the air against the Carolina secondary. It will be fun to watch, but Raiders win a close one.
Result: Oakland Raiders 35, Carolina Panthers 32
Carolina
Panthers
26

New England
Patriots
31
This looked like it might be a big game when the season started. The Jets ruined that. The Patriots are playing consecutive road games, and this could be the Jets' Super Bowl. But it wonít matter. The Jets arenít good and Tom Brady is rolling.
Result: New England Patriots 22, NY Jets 17
New York
Jets
20

Denver
Broncos
20
This is a big game in the division. The Chiefs havenít played well the past three weeks, and lost to Tampa Bay at home. The Broncos are coming off a bye and should be rested and getting guys back healthy. This will be won by the Denver defense.
Result: Denver Broncos 27, Kansas City Chiefs 30
Kansas City
Chiefs
14

Monday, Nov. 28, 2016

Philadelphia
Eagles
24
The Packers are playing consecutive road games. They also have been awful on defense. The Eagles are undefeated at home, and will stay that way as the Packers offer little resistance on defense. But Aaron Rodgers keeps it close.
Result: Philadelphia Eagles 13, Green Bay Packers 27
Green Bay
Packers
23
