Seattle Seahawks 6, San Francisco 49ers 13
24This should be a defensive war. The 49ers are coming off a pounding by the Giants, so they will be focused here in a key division game. Seattle rookie quarterback Russell Wilson has done a lot of good things, but he hasn't been as good away from home. I think that factors in here as the 49ers get back on track.
Result: San Francisco 49ers 13, Seattle Seahawks 6

Tennessee Titans 35, Buffalo Bills 34
24The Bills return home after two weeks on the West Coast feeling a little better after beating the Cardinals. The Titans had 10 days off after upsetting the Steelers. Buffalo seemed to fix some of its defensive issues last week, and I think that will carry over. Ryan Fitzpatrick will also get some big plays down the field.
Result: Buffalo Bills 34, Tennessee Titans 35
17
Dallas Cowboys 19, Carolina Panthers 14
31The Cowboys are playing consecutive road games, while the Panthers are coming off a bye. That's a big advantage for Carolina. But the Cowboys should be able to take advantage of a Panthers defense that isn't good on the back end. Look for Tony Romo to win a shootout with Cam Newton.
Result: Dallas Cowboys 19, Carolina Panthers 14
27
Baltimore Ravens 13, Houston Texans 43
27This is the game of the week, matching two 5-1 teams. The Ravens come limping in with defensive injuries, while the Texans are coming off a horrible game against Green Bay. But I think Houston bounces back. The Ravens can't stop the run, and we know what happens when the Texans get that running game going.
Result: Houston Texans 43, Baltimore Ravens 13
13
Cleveland Browns 13, Indianapolis Colts 17
21The Browns won for the first time last week, so now they have to see if that can carry over. The Colts were handled by the Jets, and now must regroup. This is a battle of rookie passers Andrew Luck and Brandon Weeden. It's easier for a rookie passer at home, which is why Luck and the Colts are the pick.
Result: Indianapolis Colts 17, Cleveland Browns 13
14
Arizona Cardinals 14, Minnesota Vikings 21
21The early-season excitement for one of these teams will take a big hit with a loss here. I think it's the Cardinals who get it. It's tough to go into the dome and face those Vikings pass rushers. It's even tougher when your tackles aren't playing well. I think the Minnesota takes advantage of that and finds a way to pull this one out.
Result: Minnesota Vikings 21, Arizona Cardinals 14
17
Washington Redskins 23, NY Giants 27
37The Giants looked great in blowing out the 49ers last week, but they have been known to have letdowns. The fact that the Redskins are a division foe could keep that from happening. Washington has issues on defense, which is why Eli Manning will have a huge day. Robert Griffin III will do all he can to keep up, but that Giants front will get after him.
Result: NY Giants 27, Washington Redskins 23
23
Green Bay Packers 30, St. Louis Rams 20
28The Packers are playing consecutive road games outside the division. That's tough. But they seemed to right things against the Texans. The passing game got cranked up and the defense was improved. St. Louis is improved, and the defense is better, but Aaron Rodgers is ready to roll.
Result: Green Bay Packers 30, St. Louis Rams 20
17
New Orleans Saints 35, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 28
35The Saints come off the bye with a chance to start turning things around. But Tampa Bay seemed to find its passing game last week against the Chiefs. Josh Freeman should be able to keep it going against a Saints defense that can't stop anybody -- especially against the pass. Bucs take it in a wild one.
Result: Tampa Bay Buccaneers 28, New Orleans Saints 35
34
NY Jets 26, New England Patriots 29
37This is for the division lead. The Jets? Hard to believe, but they can put all their early season troubles aside with a victory here. It won't happen. The Patriots blew a game last week at Seattle, and they will take it out on the Jets. You can't beat Tom Brady without a pass rush and without Darrelle Revis. Brady lights them up.
Result: New England Patriots 29, NY Jets 26
17
Jacksonville Jaguars 23, Oakland Raiders 26
33The Jaguars have traditionally had big problems on the West Coast. They are coming off the bye, which helps. But they have done little on offense to make you think that will change. The Raiders played hard last week at Atlanta, and had a chance to win it, so the interesting thing here will be their focus against a lesser team. I say it doesn't matter. Carson Palmer has a big day.
Result: Oakland Raiders 26, Jacksonville Jaguars 23
17
Pittsburgh Steelers 24, Cincinnati Bengals 17
28Both of these teams come in reeling a bit. The Bengals have lost two consecutive games, while the Steelers lost last week at Tennessee. The loser is in big trouble in the division race. Neither defense has played as well as expected. I think we see a high-scoring game as the Bengals take it at home.
Result: Cincinnati Bengals 17, Pittsburgh Steelers 24

Detroit Lions 7, Chicago Bears 13
26The Lions rallied for what could be a season-saving victory last week. The Bears are coming off their bye week, so they will be rested. The Lions still have issues on defense, which Jay Cutler and the Bears passing game will expose. I also think the Chicago front will get after Matt Stafford. The Bears keep rolling.
Result: Chicago Bears 13, Detroit Lions 7
