Tampa Bay Buccaneers 36, Minnesota Vikings 17
21The Bucs have come alive on offense the past couple of weeks with Josh Freeman putting up big numbers. But this is a tough place to play, especially the way the Vikings front is playing. They get after it on defense, ranking ninth in the league. The Bucs do stop the run, so look for Christian Ponder to have a bounce-back game.
Result: Minnesota Vikings 17, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 36

Carolina Panthers 22, Chicago Bears 23
28Cam Newton is struggling and now must go face the top defense in the NFL. That's not a way to try and get back on track. The Bears are playing great defense. Their offense is doing just enough, but I expect more than they got against Detroit here even with a short week and a banged-up Jay Cutler. Carolina seems lost right now.
Result: Chicago Bears 23, Carolina Panthers 22
20
San Diego Chargers 6, Cleveland Browns 7
28The Chargers come off their bye hoping to put the sting of that Monday night loss to the Broncos behind. The Browns are playing better, especially quarterback Brandon Weeden. But the Chargers come in here angry. That shows up.
Result: San Diego Chargers 6, Cleveland Browns 7
17
Seattle Seahawks 24, Detroit Lions 28
23The Lions are home after two weeks on the road, including a tough loss to the Bears on Monday night. They have to get the offense cranked up after two so-so weeks. It won't be easy against a Seattle defense that is playing well. This is a second successive road game for the Seahawks, but they've had 10 days to rest. Russell Wilson has struggled on the road, and it happens again.
Result: Detroit Lions 28, Seattle Seahawks 24
13
Jacksonville Jaguars 15, Green Bay Packers 24
38The Jaguars will be without Maurice Jones-Drew, and might have to play with a banged-up Blaine Gabbert. Does it matter? The Packers are on fire on offense with Aaron Rodgers lighting up the sky. Jacksonville is last in sacks per pass play. That's a green light for Rodgers to do what he wants.
Result: Green Bay Packers 24, Jacksonville Jaguars 15
14
Miami Dolphins 30, NY Jets 9
19The Dolphins are off their bye week with a 3-3 record and a chance to become a real playoff threat with a victory here. The Jets lost a tough one to New England last week, so they look to rebound. Mark Sanchez showed improvement at New England, but does that carry over? I think Miami's improved defense will make it tough for him. Dolphins take it in an upset.
Result: Miami Dolphins 30, NY Jets 9
17
Atlanta Falcons 30, Philadelphia Eagles 17
27Both teams are coming off a bye, and the Eagles are very good doing that under Andy Reid, going 13-0. The Eagles have a new defensive coordinator in Todd Bowles and his first game is a tough one against a really good offense. The Falcons haven't played well at Philadelphia under Mike Smith, but that changes in this one. The Falcons stay undefeated.
Result: Atlanta Falcons 30, Philadelphia Eagles 17
23
Washington Redskins 12, Pittsburgh Steelers 27
31The Steelers won a tough game Sunday night at Cincinnati and now must get ready to deal with Robert Griffin III. The pass rush will be key for the Steelers to contain RG3. I think they have the people to do a good job on him. The edge rushers will be key. Ben Roethlisberger will have a huge game.
Result: Pittsburgh Steelers 27, Washington Redskins 12
20
New England Patriots 45, St. Louis Rams 7
33The Rams struggled against Aaron Rodgers last week. Now they have to deal with Tom Brady. The Patriots, for all their problems, are first in the league in offense. That will show up here. Look for Tom Brady to continue where Rodgers left off last week.
Result: New England Patriots 45, St. Louis Rams 7
17
Indianapolis Colts 19, Tennessee Titans 13
30Don't laugh, but the winner of this game will be in the playoff mix. Yes, really. Andrew Luck hasn't played as well on the road as he has at home. But the Titans defense is soft. I look for a lot of points here with the Titans getting more of them with Chris Johnson playing big again.
Result: Tennessee Titans 13, Indianapolis Colts 19
24
Oakland Raiders 26, Kansas City Chiefs 16
21These longtime rivals both need to get something going. Neither can really afford a loss. The Chiefs are coming off a bye week, so they are rested. But Oakland traditionally plays well at Arrowhead. I think they do it again. Brady Quinn scares nobody.
Result: Oakland Raiders 26, Kansas City Chiefs 16
20
NY Giants 29, Dallas Cowboys 24
27The Cowboys have never beaten the Giants in Cowboys Stadium, but beat them on the road to open the season. If the Cowboys are to have a real chance at a division title, they have to win this game. The Giants love this road warriors role. This time, though, I think Tony Romo gets the better of Eli Manning.
Result: Dallas Cowboys 24, NY Giants 29
21
New Orleans Saints 14, Denver Broncos 34
38Get ready for loads of scoring. The Saints can score on anybody, but they can't stop anybody. That will mean a lot of passing yards for Drew Brees and Peyton Manning. Denver's defense has the better pass rushers, and they're at home, so they end up getting the better of it.
Result: Denver Broncos 34, New Orleans Saints 14

San Francisco 49ers 24, Arizona Cardinals 3
17The Cardinals have been struggling lately, in large part because of their offensive line. It is getting whipped. And now they have to deal with the fierce San Francisco pass rush. The problem is the 49ers don't score that much either. That means it's a low-scoring defensive game, something we will see a lot in the NFC West this season.
Result: San Francisco 49ers 24, Arizona Cardinals 3
