The Bills play three road games in a row after this, so they have to get it. The Jets are coming off a bye, so you know they will be ready. The problem is the Jets don't rush the passer well enough.  | 31 | The Cowboys were horrible in losing to the Eagles Sunday night, so they will be angry and focused here. Seattle has big problems on offense and that will show up as Rob Ryan gets his defense back on track after the bad showing against the Eagles.  | 27 | The Texans have righted things the past two weeks with two division victories, and now get a team that isn't playing well coming to their place. Houston has let down at times in this spot, but not here. The Browns are playing consecutive road games, and their offense is non-existent.  | 27 | The Colts are a statistical nightmare and haven't won a game. They might be getting worse. Atlanta is coming off the bye week, so they are rested. They got their running game going before the bye, and I look for Michael Turner to have a big day here, and that will set up play-action passes for big plays for Matt Ryan.  | 23 | The Chiefs have won four consecutive games to get to 4-3 and are tied for the AFC West lead. The Dolphins are playing consecutive non-division road games, which is tough. The Chiefs are on a short week, and could be facing a letdown here. Miami played feisty in New York and I think they will here as well. They keep it close.  | 27 | The Saints are coming off the worst loss of the Sean Payton era in terms of who/how they lost. The Rams, like most teams, ran right through them. The Bucs will try to do the same. The last time the Bucs came to New Orleans they walked out a winner. But the Saints will be re-focused here. That loss to the Rams will get them back on track. Drew Brees doesn't have two bad games in a row, but Tampa Bay hangs around. Result: New Orleans Saints 27, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 16 |

But they are keyed by a defense that is ranked fifth in the league and leads this team. The Titans looked good last week against the Colts, but this is a step up.  | 31 | Some in the preseason thought this could be a game matching the two best teams in the division. Yeah, right. These two have two victories between them. The Cardinals need to get their passing game going with Kevin Kolb. Is this the week? The Rams played well on defense last week against the Saints, but this will be different. The New England defense has problems defending the pass, which is good for Eli Manning. I think Manning has a big day in his attempt to keep up with Tom Brady, but the Patriots win a close one.  | 35 | The Chargers are home after losing consecutive road games, including Monday against the Chiefs in overtime. And now they get a Green Bay team coming off a bye. That won't be easy. The Chargers are struggling some on offense, and that isn't good against a Green Bay team that is tops in points per game. The Packers are too good and the Chargers too unsettled. Aaron Rodgers has a big day as Green Bay stays undefeated. Result: Green Bay Packers 45, San Diego Chargers 38 |
