05/24/16RBDevontae BookerKneePROBABLEBooker claims that he is coming to Denver to "take someone's job," The Salt Lake City Tribune reports.

It's not entirely clear how Booker's remark will fly in the locker room, but starter C.J. Anderson has said that he was unbothered by it. Fantasy owners should like the chip on Booker's shoulder, though. Booker obviously has the skills Denver's front office like in a back, he was supposedly on their first-round shortlist, and a bevy of backs have succeeded in head coach Gary Kubiak's one-cut system. The team's investment in Anderson indicates that it might be hard for Booker to unseat him atop the depth chart in the short term, but the fact of the matter is that he will likel take someone's job this summer - if not Anderson, Ronnie Hillman or Juwan Thompson.

05/18/16QBMark SanchezThumbPROBABLESanchez (thumb) participated in seven-on-seven and positional drills on Tuesday, the team's official site reports

So much for Sanchez missing time following surgery on his non-throwing hand. Sanchez reportedly split time evenly between rookie Paxton Lynch and Trevor Siemian before stepping aside during team drills. By practicing, Sanchez gained some valuable time with his receivers and prevented his young competitors from getting too much of a leg up. Too big of a deal was likely made over the importance of Sanchez being ready for OTAs, but showing his new teammates and coaches that he is ready to push himself while injured can only help Sanchez as he strives for Denver's starting job.

04/27/16DBOmar BoldenKneePROBABLEThe Bears and Bolden agreed to a contract Thursday, the Chicago Tribune reports.

The defections from head coach John Fox's previous employer, the Broncos, continue, as Bolden is the fourth such player to move from Denver to Chicago this offseason. In four seasons in the Mile-High City, Bolden served primarily on special teams, racking up 27 tackles in that domain while returning at least 13 kickoffs on three occasions. Expect him to serve in a similar capacity with the Bears.

04/27/16LBPernell McPheeKneePROBABLEMcPhee (knee) may not be at full speed for the Bears' April offseason program, but is expected to be fully ready for training camp, the Chicago Tribune reports.

McPhee had five sacks in the Bears first seven games last season before missing two games and missing significant snaps in the last six games he played due to the knee injury. If he can remain healthy in 2016, he should continue to not only pressure the quarterback, but also be an asset against the run.
