10/24/16TEEric EbronKneeQUESTIONABLEEbron (ankle/knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Redskins, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.

Although he was spotted running on a side field Wednesday, the third-year tight end still hasn't practiced since injuring his knee in Week 4. The Detroit offense hasn't relied on his replacements at tight end, instead looking to WRs Anquan Boldin and Golden Tate to fill the void in the short passing game. Tight ends accounted for just one of the Lions' 51 targets the past two weeks, with Clay Harbor drawing the sole look. Considering pass-catching back Theo Riddick (ankle) will also be absent, Boldin and Tate could be busy again.

10/24/16DLHaloti NgataShoulderQUESTIONABLENgata (shoulder) will not play Sunday against the Redskins, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.

Ngata was given a 2-3 week timetable for return prior to missing last week's game. Thus, there's evidently optimism he could return in Week 8.

10/24/16RBTheo RiddickAnkleQUESTIONABLERiddick (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Washington, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.

Absent from practice for a second straight week, Riddick never seemed to have much shot at making his return. Dwayne Washington (ankle) is listed as questionable after logging limited practices all week, suggesting he at least has some chance to join a Detroit backfield that was led by Zach Zenner and Justin Forsett in last week's win over the Titans.

10/24/16RBDwayne WashingtonAnkleQUESTIONABLEWashington (ankle) is listed as inactive Sunday against the Redskins.

Joining Theo Riddick (ankle) on the sideline, Washington will again yield the backfield to Zach Zenner and, to a lesser extent, Justin Forsett.

09/11/16LBJosh BynesKneeOUTBynes (knee) reached an injury settlement, and was cut by the Lions on Saturday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Bynes had been placed on the injured-reserve with a knee injury. The severity of his knee injury is still unknown. He had originally projected to provide linebacker depth for the Lions this season.
