10/23/16WRTaylor GabrielCONCUSSIONOUTGabriel (concussion) is expected to be able to return for Week 8's game against the Packers, ESPN's Vaughn McClure reports.

Gabriel hasn't practiced this week due to his concussion, which will certainly see him miss Sunday's game against the Chargers. However, coach Dan Quinn anticipates Gabriel's absence to be relatively short-lived, as he should be back available next weekend. While Gabriel's progress through the league protocol will ultimately determine whether that timetable is realized, Justin Hardy and Aldrick Robinson should split his vacated snaps in the meantime.

Goodwin went down last week against the Seahawks. His absence opens the door for Jalen Collins to see his first chance at significant playing time this season.
