10/24/16RBTaiwan JonesKneeQUESTIONABLEJones (knee) is inactive Sunday against the Jaguars.

With Latavius Murray (toe) back in action, DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard will round out the Raiders' running back corps. Jones wouldn't have been much of a threat to siphon backup carries from the latter two anyway, had he been available to play.

07/29/16LBAldon SmithSuspensionSUSPENDSmith (suspension) has applied for reinstatement into the NFL, Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Smith's one-year suspension that he was serving for a violation of the league's substance abuse policy is nearing an end, and after entering a treatment center in late July, Smith will once again attempt to make a return to the NFL. Having been suspended and under investigation multiple times over the past few years, Smith will have a lot to prove to the league if he wishes to play once again.

10/26/16LBDeMarcus WareForearmQUESTIONABLEWare (forearm) returned to practice Wednesday for the first time since fracturing his forearm in mid-September, Cameron Wolfe of the Denver Post reports.

Ware hasn't yet been ruled out for Sunday's tilt against the Chargers, in what could be his first game action since Week 2. If he's able to play, the Broncos could limit his reps leaving Shane Ray with an opportunity for an expanded role at weakside linebacker.
