05/17/16WRDonte MoncriefToe Moncrief (toe) has started running routes, according to his Twitter account.

Moncrief aggravated a toe injury late last season and ended up having surgery on it earlier this offseason. He's missed Indy's offseason practices, but is expected to be ready for the start of training camp.

04/25/16DLHenry AndersonKnee Anderson is aiming to complete his rehab from a torn ACL by Week 1 of the upcoming season, Kevin Bowen of the Colts' official site reports. "We haven't gotten into specific 'return to play' dates yet but everything is ahead of schedule so far," he said earlier this week. "My knee feels awesome."

The Colts lost both Andrew Luck and Anderson for the season during a Week 9 win versus the Broncos, but the defensive end's injury was lost in the wake of the franchise quarterback's ordeal. In any case, Anderson has embarked on his second ACL recovery -- the other occurred in high school -- as he attempts to show that his impressive rookie campaign wasn't a fluke. In parts of nine games before the injury, he notched one sack among 31 tackles (19 solo).

02/16/16LBJosh McNaryGroin McNary (groin) has been placed on season-ending injured reserve, Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star reports.

A reserve inside linebacker, McNary hasn't seen much of the field since Jerrell Freeman returned from an injury in Week 15. McNary finishes his season with 14 tackles in 13 appearances, after registering 28 takedowns in 15 games last season. His contract runs through 2016, but there's a good chance he'll have to compete for a roster spot next year.

05/16/16LBTony StewardBack Steward has been placed on injured reserve due to a back injury suffered in Sunday's win over Houston, BuffaloBills.com reports.

Starter Nigel Bradham may not be able to make it back from his ankle injury this week. If that doesn't happen, the Bills would be down their top two guys at the inside linebacker spot next to Preston Brown.

04/27/16DBP.J. WilliamsHamstringPROBABLEWilliams (hamstring) is competing for snaps at the nickel position in OTAs, Joel Erickson of the New Orleans Advocate reports.

Williams lost his entire rookie season after suffering a torn hamstring during training camp last year. Now that he's healthy, the 2015 third rounder will have the chance to show why he was taken so high in the draft. Keenan Lewis (hip) and Delvin Breaux look to have the starting cornerback positions locked down, so Williams will compete with Damian Swann and Kyle Wilson for the nickel role, playing primarily in passing situations. Along with the third corner slot, Williams will likely be one of the team's primary backups, seeing extra time in the event of any injuries to the secondary during the season.

04/08/16DLCameron JordanBack Jordan (back) practiced without limitations Thursday, Larry Holder of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Jordan underwent back surgery in February and wasn't expected to rejoin the team until training camp. However, Jordan was much farther ahead in his recovery than expected and was able to return to the practice field in full for the team's OTAs on Thursday. Jordan is coming off a 10-sack Pro Bowl season and with the back injury finally behind him, he'll have the chance to improve on his numbers.

02/16/16DBKeenan LewisKnee Lewis underwent hip surgery Monday, The New Orleans Advocate reports.

Lewis was placed on season-ending injured reserve recently due to hip and knee complications, and had surgery on his hip labrum Monday to correct that ailment. The veteran will now aim to get healthy ahead of next season, while the Saints' porous defense tries to at least finish this season respectfully.
