10/20/16QBJay CutlerThumbOUTThe Bears are hopeful that Cutler (thumb) will be ready for Week 8, Fox's Jay Glazer reported Sunday morning on their pregame show.

With Brian Hoyer out with a broken arm, the Bears really aren't prepared to live in a world where Matt Barkley is the starting QB. We'll find out more on Cutler's status from the practice reports this upcoming week.

10/20/16DBDeiondre' HallAnkleOUTHall (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday's matchup against the Packers, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports.

News came earlier in the week that Hall's ankle injury would not require surgery, but the rookie cornerback will be out for at least Week 7's tilt, with his next opportunity to return coming Week 8 on Monday night against the Vikings. Sherrick McManis and Cre'von LeBlanc could be in line for additional reps when the Packers deploy multiple-receiver offensive sets, but their roles likely won't be affected too severely if Tracy Porter (knee) and Bryce Callahan (hamstring) are able to play.

10/05/16DLEgo FergusonSuspensionSUSPENDFerguson has been handed a four-game suspension for a violation of the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances, Jeff Dickerson of ESPN Chicago reports.

After notching three tackles in four games, Ferguson was placed on season-ending injured reserve in October due to a nagging knee injury. Thus, his ban won't kick in until he's healthy enough to take the field during the 2016 campaign.

10/23/16SKam ChancellorGROINDOUBTFULChancellor (groin) is listed as doubtful for Sunday night's game at Arizona, the Seattle Times reports.

If Chancellor can't play Sunday, which is the likely outcome, Kelcie McCray would be in line to get his second start at strong safety in place of Chancellor.

10/23/16DTQuinton JeffersonTHUMB, KNEEOUTJefferson (thumb) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Cardinals, Curtis Crabtree of UPI.com reports.

This will be the second consecutive game missed for Jefferson due to his thumb injury. Frank Clark should see an increased workload providing depth at defensive end while Jefferson is sidelined.

10/23/16LBKevin Pierre-LouisANKLEOUTPierre-Louis (ankle) will not play in Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Curtis Crabtree of UPI.com reports.

This will be the first game missed for Pierre-Louis this season. He provided a season high three tackles in last Sunday's win over the Falcons. Dewey McDonald and Jordan Tripp figure to see an increased workload providing depth at outside linebacker while Pierre-Louis is sidelined.

10/23/16RBThomas RawlsFIBULAOUTRawls (ankle) remains a few weeks away from his return, according to coach Pete Carroll, 710 ESPN Seattle's Liz Mathews reports.

Rawls has been sidelined since Week 2 due to a fibula injury and general manager John Schneider started October by projecting he'd need another month to recover. As a result, Carroll saying he's still a few weeks away fits that timeline, although Rawls still has no definitive date for his expected return. While that leaves his already-frustrated fantasy owners in further limbo, Rawls' absence figures to allow Christine Michael to continue to dominate Seattle's backfield workload, with rookie Alex Collins and C.J. Prosise (wrist) factoring in behind him.

10/23/16TELuke WillsonKNEEOUTWillson (knee - MCL) responded well to surgery and is hopeful to return this season, ESPN's Liz Mathews reports.

Willson injured his knee Sunday against the Falcons and went under the knife Tuesday in order to fix it. He's slated to miss multiple games, but it seems he could realistically return later on in the season.

09/12/16LBEric PinkinsUndisclosedQUESTIONABLEPinkins was waived by the Seahawks on Saturday, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio KJR reports.

The three-year vet struggled to make enough noise during his tenure in Seattle. Pinkins, 25, tallied just two tackles last season.
