10/11/15LBKiko AlonsoKNEEOUTEagles linebacker Mychal Kendricks (hamstring) has been designated as questionable for the Sunday game in Washington.

Kendricks logged full practices throughout the week, which would typically lead to a probable designation. He should be able to play, but between his 'questionable' tag and teammate DeMarco Murray's surprise absence last week, it would be unwise to assume Kendricks will suit up.

If he does play, Kendricks should be assured of a three-down role, as Kiko Alonso (knee) has been ruled out.

Also suiting up for Philly are outside linebacker Trent Cole (hand), defensive tackle Beau Allen (shoulder), defensive end Brandon Bair (knee), tight end Trey Burton (back), linebacker Mychal Kendricks (ankle) and safety Chris Maragos.

10/11/15LBMychal KendricksHAMSTRINGOUTKendricks (hamstring) is listed as out for Sunday's game against the Saints.

With Kendricks and Kiko Alonso (knee) both absent, the Eagles will start DeMeco Ryans and Jordan Hicks at inside linebacker. Hicks has 23 tackles over the last three weeks, and he figures to serve in an every-down role. He's an excellent IDP option, if only for the next week or two.

10/11/15CBByron MaxwellQUADRICEPSPROBABLEMaxwell (quadriceps) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Saints.

Maxwell logged full practices Thursday and Friday, after sitting out Wednesday's session. He's on pace for a career-best 92 tackles, but it will be a big surprise if he actually reaches that number, as his 10-tackle game against Julio Jones and the Falcons was an obvious outlier. Of course, if he continues to struggle in coverage, Maxwell will probably see far more targets than what was expected heading into the year.

10/11/15DERobert Ayers Jr.HAMSTRINGOUTGiants defensive end Robert Ayers is out for Sunday's game in Buffalo.

With Ayers out for a second straight week, George Selvie will likely slide over to left defensive end again, allowing Kerry Wynn to join the starting lineup as the right defensive end. Even against a run-heavy Bills team, the Giants defense will sorely miss its most effective pass-rusher.

10/11/15LBJonathan CasillasCALFQUESTIONABLEThe Giants announced they've signed running back Shane Vereen late Wednesday night.
10/11/15WRVictor CruzCALFOUTGiants wide receiver Victor Cruz (calf) won't play Sunday against the 49ers, but he is aiming to return Week 6 against the Eagles, the New York Daily News reports.

Cruz is slated for an examination with team doctors Monday, which is 10 days removed from receiving a PRP injection in his left calf. After he meets with the doctors, he'll adjust his timetable for a return to running, according to The Record.

With a Monday night contest in Week 6, Cruz will have an extra day to prove the health of the calf. However, next Thursday's practice will ultimately set the groundwork for the potential to make his season debut.

10/11/15TEJerome CunninghamKNEEPROBABLEGiants tight end Jerome Cunningham (knee) is inactive for the Week 4 game against Buffalo.

Cunningham and Daniel Fells did not travel with the team. As a result, the Giants' tight end depth will suffer, although Larry Donnell could end up seeing a few more targets.

10/11/15CBJayron HosleyCONCUSSIONQUESTIONABLEThe Giants declared linebacker Devon Kennard (toe), wideout Corey Washington, cornerback Jayron Hosley, offensive linemen Adam Gettis and Eric Herman, defensive tackle Dominique Hamilton and tight end Jerome Cunningham inactive for Sunday's game against the Eagles.
10/11/15LBDevon KennardHAMSTRINGOUTGiants linebacker Devon Kennard (hamstring) has been ruled out for the game Sunday against the 49ers.

Kennard is off to an impressive start, with 25 tackles (15 solo) and an interception in four games. The Giants still don't have an every-down linebacker, but Kennard leads the group in snaps. In his absence, Mark Herzlich could get the start, though a bunch of players may benefit from added snaps.

10/11/15CBTrumaine McBrideGROINQUESTIONABLEThe Giants placed cornerback Trumaine McBride (thumb) on injured reserve Tuesday. McBride underwent surgery Monday after injuring his thumb in Week 6.
10/11/15DEGeorge SelvieCALFOUTGeorge Selvie will be reunited with former University of South Florida teammate Jason Pierre-Paul in New York. The defensive lineman signed a one-year, $1.4 million deal with the Giants that includes a $200,000 signing bonus, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
