07/26/16DBClayton GeathersFootNFIGeathers injured his foot while working out in the offseason, ESPN reports. "Unfortunately, he has a foot injury. He's doing well. He's three weeks into that. He'll be week to week," head coach Chuck Pagano said.

It doesn't sound like a long-term injury, but his return date isn't clear. T.J. Green is the leading candidate to start opposite Mike Adams at safety if Geathers isn't ready for the start of the regular season.

07/22/16DLArthur JonesSuspensionSUSPENDJones will be suspended for the first four games of the 2016 season for violating the NFL policy on PEDs, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports.

Jones missed the entire 2015 season due to torn ligaments in his ankle and did not participate in spring practices. He may have been sidelined to start the season even without the suspension, but this still hurts Indy's depth on the defensive line.

04/27/16LBJustin HoustonKneeQUESTIONABLEHouston (knee) won't be ready for the start of next month's training camp, ESPN.com reports.

The Chiefs still do not have a concrete timetable outlined for Houston, who underwent ACL surgery in February, though GM John Dorsey maintains that the linebacker will play for the team at some point this coming season. With that in mind, Dorsey noted of Houston, "I don't know how much he's going to do in camp. But, listen, he's where he needs to be right now and he's a hard worker. He's bound and determined to get back. We'll just see how it works out. There is no timetable. It's just when he's right, he's right and we'll roll." Houston, who racked up 22 sacks in 2014, is coming off a 2015 campaign in which he recorded 30 tackles and 7.5 sacks in 11 games.
