09/26/16LBDe'Vondre CampbellANKLEOUTCampbell (ankle) has been ruled out for the Falcons' Monday night matchup against the Saints, ESPN reports.

Campbell has been sidelined since hurting his ankle in practice prior to Week 2. Sean Weatherspoon will get the start at OLB at least once more.

09/26/16WRJulio JonesCALFQUESTIONABLEJones (calf) said he will play Monday against Saints, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Jones missed practice earlier in the week, and while he put in only a limited effort Saturday, it was apparently enough to give him confidence to play Monday. His presence would certainly be a huge boost against a Saints defense that is one of the worst in the league.

09/26/16LBPaul WorrilowGROINOUTWorrilow (groin) underwent surgery on Thursday and is expected to be sidelined for at least four weeks, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.

Worrilow, the Falcons' leading tackler the past three seasons, was replaced by rookie Deion Jones in the starting lineup this season and has yet to record a stat this season. Philip Wheeler will move back to inside linebacker with the linebacking core thinned out due to Worrilow's and De'Vondre Campbell's (ankle) current injuries. The Falcons also signed O'Brien Schofield on Wednesday to give the team a little added depth for Week 3's tilt with the Saints.

07/29/16DBJalen CollinsSuspensionSUSPENDCollins tallied 17 total tackles in 16 games during his rookie year with the Falcons.

Collins was limited to rotational work, only seeing the field on 28.6 percent of the total defensive snaps. He'll likely earn more playing time in the coming years, but the Falcons have a pretty young core of secondary players, meaning it won't be easy for Collins to ascend the ranks.

09/25/16DBKyle FullerKneeOUTFuller (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

Fuller is still recovering from mid-August arthroscopic knee surgery, and has yet to take the field this season. He was limited in practice last week before ultimately being ruled inactive. The Bears are likely exercising caution with the 24-year-old in order to ensure his health going forward. He is trending toward another questionable designation for Sunday night's game against the Bears. Delondre' Hall figures to be in line for another start if Fuller cannot play.

09/02/16TEBen BrauneckerAnkleQUESTIONABLEBraunecker worked out on the side of practice on Thursday as he recovers from an ankle injury, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Braunecker is an undrafted rookie who faces an uphill battle to make Chicago's roster, as he's buried on the depth chart. The sooner he can return to action the better, and it appears he's nearing a return now that he's been able to at least work out on the side. Rob Housler and Gannon Sinclair will likely continue to see extra reps as long as Braunecker is out.

07/29/16DLEgo FergusonSuspensionSUSPENDFerguson has been handed a four-game suspension for a violation of the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances, Jeff Dickerson of ESPN Chicago reports.

After notching three tackles in four games, Ferguson was placed on season-ending injured reserve in October due to a nagging knee injury. Thus, his ban won't kick in until he's healthy enough to take the field during the 2016 campaign.
