Lions running back Reggie Bush, who's missed four of the past six games with an ankle injury, told reporters he's planning to play on Thanksgiving Day against the Bears, according to ESPN. Bush has been a limited participant in practice this week leading up to the game because of ankle and back injuries. The Lions will unveil his injury status for Thursday's game on Wednesday.
Lions defensive tackle Nick Fairley was unable to practice Tuesday and will miss Thursday's clash against Chicago in Week 12, the Detroit Free-Press reports. Fairley has been sidelined since Week 8 because of a knee injury.
During the six games in which Calvin Johnson was either sidelined or compromised by an ankle injury, fellow Lions wide receiver Golden Tate emerged as a must-start Fantasy option, averaging 8.3 catches for 118.0 yards. But the ride appeared to end with Johnson's return Week 11 at Arizona. Not only did Tate catch just two passes for 41 yards, but he was targeted just twice.
