02/19/13RBWillis McGaheeKnee, leg The Denver Post reports Broncos running back Willis McGahee is not expected to attend Monday's OTA workout. The voluntary session means he could practice away from the team. McGahee was present for Broncos OTA workouts last year. His agent told the paper that he'll attend. "He's following the same routine he's done his whole career. He'll be there," agent Chafie Fields said. "He's ready to compete. No messages." (Updated 05/20/2013)
01/17/13RBKnowshon MorenoKnee USA Today reports Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno participated in individual drills during OTA workouts on Monday but still hasn't been cleared for team drills. He's still fighting a knee injury believed to have occurred during the AFC divisional playoff game vs. Baltimore. (Updated 05/20/2013)

04/17/13LBColin McCarthyAnkle Colin McCarthy told The Tennessean he's still not quite healthy following offseason ankle surgery but that symptoms following a concussion have passed. “If I had to put a percentage on it, I’d say I’m probably about 80 percent,” McCarthy said Tuesday. “I think the biggest issue I’m having is just some of the acceleration, some of the cuts, some of the backpedals, just coming in and out of breaks. I don’t feel 100 percent." (Updated 05/22/2013)
03/13/13WRMarc MarianiLeg The Titans placed receiver Marc Mariani (leg) on season-ending injured reserve Sunday. (Updated 08/26/2012)
02/22/13RBJavon RingerKnee The Tennessean reports that Titans running back Javon Ringer is recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery to repair an injury he suffered during the 2012 season. Ringer is expected to be fully healthy within a month, however. Ringer suffered a sprained MCL during the team’s October 7 game against the Vikings, and the initial plan didn’t call for surgery. He rehabbed the injury during the season, but was eventually placed on Injured Reserve after playing in just two games. Ringer, a fifth round pick by the team in 2009, is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent next month. Titans general manager Ruston Webster said the team would like to find a back to complement Chris Johnson more in 2013. Asked if the door is closed on Ringer’s return, he said: “Not necessarily. But just like anybody else who has been injured, you have to take precaution there and you can’t rely on guys who have missed time.” (Updated 02/22/2013)
01/15/13TEJared CookShoulder CBSSports.com NFL Insider Jason La Canfora believes Jared Cook is a candidate to break out in his first year with the Rams. La Canfora correctly notes that he was "handcuffed" by poor quarterback play in Tennessee and figures to be utilized much more often in St. Louis. La Canfora thinks Cook will replace Danny Amendola as Sam Bradford's "security blanket." (Updated 05/13/2013)
01/09/13QBJake LockerShoulder The Titans official website reports that quarterback Jake Locker said his left shoulder “feels like its back to normal” and he will “definitely” be cleared for contact at training camp in late July. Locker’s injury last season and backup status in 2011 has translated into only 16 games played with 11 starts over his first two NFL seasons — not a large body of work for evaluation. Despite the injuries and playing behind a depleted offensive line a year ago, Locker has thrown for 2,718 yards and 14 touchdowns vs. 11 interceptions. He improved his completion percentage from 51.5 in 2011 to 56.4 in 2012 and ran for 291 yards and a TD last season. Locker admits he “can improve in a lot of areas” as he looks to become more consistent and find ways to keep the offense on the field in 2013. “I go out and I’m always trying to get the best out of myself no matter what the situation,” he said. “It won’t be any different for me, I won’t approach it any different. I’m just excited about this season.” (Updated 05/14/2013)
