Colts coach Chuck Pagano told reporters during Monday's news conference that running back Trent Richardsonwill undergo an MRI on his injured hamstring, per the team's official website.
Richardson suffered the injury in the second half of Sunday's win over the Bengals. He's cureently 16th in the league in rushing with 358 yards on the ground through seven games. According to the Indianapolis Star, Richardson is expected to be "fine" moving forward.
Colts safety LaRon Landry has been suspended four games for violating the league's policy on performance enhancing substances, the team announced. Landry will be eligible to return to the team's active roster for Week 9 against the Giants. He was second on the team in tackles with 23 stops (19 solo) and one sack before the suspension.
Saints defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley (concussion) and defensive end Glenn Foster (knee) were forced out of the game at Detroit in the second half. Both have been ruled out for the rest of the game.
Saints running back Pierre Thomas, who suffered a shoulder injury Sunday at Detroit, will miss two or three games, reports NFL Network. Thomas has rushed 30 times for 133 yards and two touchdowns and caught 26 passes for 204 yards and another score.
