49ers coach Jim Harbaugh said running back Marcus Lattimore will come off the non-football injury list Wednesday, opening his 21-day practice window. The team must decide in those three weeks whether to put Lattimore on the active roster.
Looking to free up cap space earlier this offseason, the Ravens offered a "lucrative, long-term" deal with defensive lineman Haloti Ngata so that he wouldn't cost $16 million in cap space. Ngata, 30 years old with two years left on his current deal, wasn't willing to take the extension, NFL Network reports.
