10/23/16WRKamar AikenTHIGHQUESTIONABLEAiken (thigh) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets.

Aiken has been bothered by his thigh for the past few weeks, but it's yet to result in an absence or any in-game limitations. With Steve Smith (ankle) listed as doubtful, Aiken and Breshad Perriman figure to take on expanded roles alongside Mike Wallace. Though AIken was technically the starter last week, Perriman has drawn more targets in each of the last five games.

10/23/16LBElvis DumervilFOOTOUTDumervil (foot) has been ruled out of Sunday's matchup with the Jets.

This counts as the fifth game Dumervil will miss this season. With Terrell Suggs considered doubtful to play, Za'Darius Smith and Albert McClellan project as the Ravens' starting outside linebackers.

    (Updated 10/21/2016)
10/23/16WRDevin HesterTHIGHQUESTIONABLEHester (thigh) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets after logging a full practice Friday.

Hester was absent due to a thigh issue prior to Friday's full session, but that late-week involvement could be enough for him to face the Jets. While his status will need to be confirmed one way or the other Sunday, Hester's contributions have been restricted to special teams work in Baltimore.

10/23/16LBC.J. MosleyTHIGHOUTMosley (thigh) will not play Sunday against the Jets.

Mosley will now miss his second straight game and remains without a timeline to return. Consequently, Kamalei Correa projects to get the start this weekend.

10/23/16CBJerraud PowersTHIGHQUESTIONABLEPowers (groin) is questionable to play Sunday against the Jets.

Powers was unable to return after exiting last week's game with a groin injury, but was a full participant in Friday's practice and seems in line to suit up.

    (Updated 10/21/2016)
10/23/16CBJimmy SmithCONCUSSIONQUESTIONABLESmith (concussion) is questionable to play against the Jets on Sunday.

Smith sustained a concussion last Sunday against the Giants and was limited in every practice the Ravens held this week.

10/23/16WRSteve Smith Sr.ANKLEDOUBTFULSmith (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Jets.

For a second straight week, Smith didn't participate in practice and will be listed as doubtful for Sunday's game. With no indication he has any shot to play, the Ravens will need added contributions from Mike Wallace, Breshad Perriman and Kamar Aiken (thigh) against a vulnerable Jets secondary. QB Joe Flacco (shoulder) is listed as questionable, creating additional concerns in regard to the Baltimore passing game.

10/23/16LBTerrell SuggsBICEPSDOUBTFULSuggs (biceps) is doubtful to play Sunday against the Jets.

Suggs suffered a torn biceps last week against the Giants and was held out of practice all week. He's all but ruled out of this week's game, though it appears possible he could be back in Week 8.

10/23/16CBShareece WrightTHIGHDOUBTFULWright (back) is doubtful to play Sunday against the Jets.

Wright didn't participate in any practice session this week and doesn't appear to have favorable odds of suiting up.

    (Updated 10/21/2016)
10/23/16GMarshal YandaSHOULDERDOUBTFULYanda (shoulder) is doubtful to play Sunday against the Jets.

09/07/16DBCarrington ByndomUndisclosedQUESTIONABLEByndom (undisclosed) reached an injury settlement with the Ravens on Wednesday, Jayson Braddock of SportsTalk 790 reports.

It's unclear why Byndom landed on injured reserve in the first place, but he's now eligible to sign elsewhere.

07/29/16TENick BoyleSuspensionSUSPENDBoyle has been suspended for the first 10 games of the 2016 campaign due to a violation of the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs, Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun reports.

Boyle was utilized sparsely as a rookie in 2015, hauling in 18 balls for 153 yards over the course of 11 games. However, he received his first suspension related to PEDs on Dec. 7 and subsequently missed the final four contests of the season. With Boyle out of the picture for most of next season, the Ravens rely upon Crockett Gillmore (back) and Maxx Williams to man tight end.

10/23/16CBMarcus BurleyHAMSTRINGOUTBurley (hamstring) will not play Sunday against the Bengals, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Burley exited last week's game against the Titans with a strained hamstring and was unable to practice all week. Given this complete lack of participation, it's possible the injury may be more severe than initially let on. It's uncertain when he'll be able to return.

    (Updated 10/21/2016)
10/23/16WRCorey ColemanHANDOUTColeman (hand) has been ruled out for Sunday's game in Cincinnati, the Akron Beacon Journal's Nate Ulrich reports.

This was a mere formality, considering Coleman still hasn't returned to practice since breaking his hand prior to Week 3. With Terrelle Pryor (hamstring) potentially also sidelined, the Browns may need to rely on rookies Ricardo Louis and Rashard Higgins, in addition to veteran slot man Andrew Hawkins. Once healthy, Coleman figures to join Pryor in the starting lineup.

    (Updated 10/21/2016)
10/23/16DEXavier CooperSHOULDERQUESTIONABLECooper (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's matchup with the Titans.

Cooper continues to nurse a shoulder injury, so look for Tyrone Holmes to receive the spot start this week.

    (Updated 10/16/2016)
10/23/16TESeth DeValveKNEEOUTDeValve (knee) will not play Sunday against the Bengals, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

DeValve will now sit out his fourth consecutive game. Connor Hamlett will continue to serve as Gary Barnidge's direct backup.

    (Updated 10/21/2016)
10/23/16CBJoe HadenGROINDOUBTFULHaden (groin) is doubtful to play against the Bengals on Sunday.

Haden didn't practice this week and appears set to miss his second straight game. Briean Boddy-Calhoun and Tramon Williams will consequently see an uptick in snaps once again.

    (Updated 10/21/2016)
10/23/16QBJosh McCownSHOULDEROUTMcCown (collarbone) has been ruled out for Sunday's game in Cincinnati, the Akron Beacon Journal's Nate Ulrich reports.

McCown was a limited practice participant for the second straight week, and he may need to log a full practice before he's cleared to play. Kevin Hogan will again serve as the backup to Cody Kessler, who had his most impressive game of the season last week, throwing for 336 yards and a pair of touchdowns as the Browns nearly erased a multi-score deficit. Barring a complete meltdown in the next week or two, Kessler seems likely to keep the starting job even when McCown is ready to play.

    (Updated 10/21/2016)
10/23/16WRTerrelle Pryor Sr.HAMSTRINGQUESTIONABLEPryor (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals.

Pryor, who was on the field for 64 of the Browns' 67 snaps on offense in Week 6 against the Titans, en route to catching nine passes (on 13 targets) for 75 yards and two TDs, ending up not practicing Wednesday and Thursday, with the Akron Beacon Journal noting that he tried to run Friday. When asked afterward how he felt about Pryor's chances of playing Sunday, coach Hue Jackson essentially deemed the wideout a game-day call for the 1:00 ET contest, by noting "we'll see where we are on Sunday." If Pryor ends up limited or out this weekend, rookies Ricardo Louis, Rashard Higgins and Jordan Payton could be called upon to play a larger role in the Browns' passing offense along with veteran Andrew Hawkins.

    (Updated 10/21/2016)
10/23/16TERandall TelferANKLEQUESTIONABLETelfer (ankle) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

While it may be unlikely Telfer returns Week 7 against the Bengals after missing several weeks due to the ankle issue, he may be ready for game action as soon as Week 8 versus the Jets. He'll likely need to log at least one full practice before a potential return.

    (Updated 10/19/2016)
10/04/16WRJosh GordonSuspensionSUSPENDGordon will likely be released by the Browns, NFL.com reports.

As hinted by head coach Hue Jackson, the team no longer has any plans for Gordon, who will enter an in-patient rehab facility instead of returning from his suspension in Week 5. It's unclear how long Gordon will stay in the facility and when/if he plans to play again this season, but he should eventually draw interest around the league, unless he failed a drug test -- in which case he'd likely be suspended yet again.

    (Updated 09/30/2016)
07/31/16DBTrey CaldwellHamstringQUESTIONABLECaldwell suffered a hamstring injury during the onset of training camp, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

It's currently unclear whether the hamstring was merely tweaked or if Caldwell has suffered something worse. Either way, there has been no timeline provided for his return. When healthy, the Browns' fifth-round pick will compete for a role out of the slot.

    (Updated 07/31/2016)
07/28/16DLDesmond BryantChestOUTBryant (chest) has been placed on the injured reserve list and will sit out the entire season, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.

Entering his eighth NFL season and fourth with the Browns, Bryant was a lock to start at defensive end after a 2015 campaign which saw him record a career-high and team-leading six sacks. The torn pectoral muscle he suffered earlier this month was originally thought to keep him out 4-to-6 months, making November the soonest possible return date. Rather than push his recovery in the hopes of a return the team decided it best to shut him down for the season. Carl Nassib appears first in line to replace Bryant, but John Hughes and Dylan Wynn could see some extra snaps as well.
