Colts defensive back Darius Butlerwas forced out of Saturday's preseason game against the Saints with an ankle injury, the team announced. Butler sustained the injury in the first half and was unable to return.
Though the Colts entered the Wild Card game against the Chiefs with an extensive list of injured players on the defensive side of the ball, all but one was able to play Saturday. Among the 10 players listed on the injury report, only defensive lineman Fili Moala (knee) was unable to play.
Colts cornerback Greg Toler made a spectacular diving interception in the Week 2 loss to the Eagles. Late in the first half, Eagles quarterback Nick Foles tried to hit Jeremy Maclin on a go route but Toler hung close and came down with the ball.

The surprise inactivity of Patriots cornerback Alfonzo Dennard for the Sunday clash in Minnesota could be due to a shoulder injury, according to the Providence Journal, which is reporting that trainers were giving it plenty of attention before the game.
Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski continued to play on a limited basis on Sunday at the Vikings, catching four passes on six targets for 32 yards without any touchdowns. The Patriots built a big lead early thanks to several Vikings turnovers and wound up not having to throw much (just 22 pass attempts to Tom Brady).
