The Giants have placed running back Brandon Jacobs on injured reserve on Tuesday, according to a report from the New York Daily News.
Jacobs, 31, missed his last two games because of a knee injury. He finished the season with 58 carries for 238 yards and four touchdowns in seven games. 106 of those rushing yards, along with two touchdowns, came against the Bears in Week 6.
Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul, who's missed two straight games with a shoulder injury, is feeling better, reports the New York Post. Pierre-Paul is in position to practice this week and perhaps play Sunday vs. the Seahawks, according to the report.
