Addae (collarbone) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Broncos, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Addae's status appears to be on the upswing for next week's contest, as the safety was able to practice with the Chargers on Thursday, albeit on a limited basis. For this week, however, Adrian Phillips is expected to get the start in place of Addae.
Flowers (concussion) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Broncos, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Flowers was able to practice on a limited basis Thursday, but that wasn't enough to convince the Chargers to activate the corner for Sunday's game, marking the fourth straight game the 30-year-old will miss with symptoms stemming from his Week 3 concussion. Look for Casey Hayward to get the start at corner once again.
Bailey (ankle) reached an injury settlement with the Chargers on Friday, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Bailey signed with the Chargers in early-August, but didn't see a minute of preseason action. The agreement removes him from the team's injured reserve list, leaving him free to sign with another team.
Jones (knee) is inactive Sunday against the Jaguars.
With Latavius Murray (toe) back in action, DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard will round out the Raiders' running back corps. Jones wouldn't have been much of a threat to siphon backup carries from the latter two anyway, had he been available to play.
Smith (suspension) has entered a treatment center, ESPN reports.
Smith's reason for seeking treatment is unclear, but it comes just days after a Periscope video titled "Fire up session" surfaced of an unidentified man, suspected to be him, talking about a hand-rolled cigarette shown on screen. In wake of that video, which appeared under an account previously used by Smith, the NFL has launched an investigation into whether he violated protocols required of a suspended player seeking reinstatement from a substance abuse violation. While that investigation continues, Smith's move to now enter a treatment facility hardly seems coincidental, and more details regarding his situation should surface soon.
