Redskins tight end Jordan Reed will undergo the league's concussion protocol after suffering what is believed to be his at least his 4th concussion, the Washington Post reports.
Reed's last concussion was in 2013 and forced him to miss the final six games of the season.
There's no telling the severity of the concussion until he is reviewed by doctors later in the week. In addition to the concussion he is also dealing with a sprained MCL. Reed's availability for Week 5 is not looking very good. If he's unable to play Derek Carrier will start in his place.
Rams linebacker Alec Ogletree underwent surgery Tuesday on a fractured fibula and will be miss at least eight weeks, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
What was initially termed an ankle injury has been confirmed as a broken leg, threatening the remainder of Ogletree's season. He was easily on pace to achieve a third 100-tackle campaign in a row to kick off his career. However, his absence will make way for Akeem Ayers to serve as the Rams' weak-side linebacker.
