05/29/13WRDarrius Heyward-BeyHamstring The Indianapolis Star reports that Colts receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey is dealing with a sore hamstring during OTA workouts. The report says it's not considered the "least bit serious." (Updated 05/29/2013)
05/23/13LBPat AngererFoot Colts linebacker Pat Angerer might be out until the start of training camp after undergoing a second surgery to fix a broken bone in his right foot. He said his foot “feels better now than it did all last year,” according to the Indianapolis Star. (Updated 05/23/2013)
05/23/13RBDelone CarterShoulder Backup Colts running back Delone Carter had recent shoulder surgery and isn't practicing in team OTAs according to the Indianapolis Star. He dealt with a thumb injury and two ankle injuries in 2012. (Updated 05/23/2013)
03/13/13RBDonald BrownAnkle When asked about his running backs Colts head coach Chuck Pagano conceded that Vick Ballard was the primary option but that Donald Brown would be in the mix. He even went as far as to call him a "home-run hitter" while expressing thankfulness for his health. "Donnie’s in great shape and healthy and looks fantastic to this point in the offseason program," Pagano said. "Can Vick be an every-down guy? Yeah. Can Donnie be an every-down guy? Yeah. They are different types of runners and are more than capable on third down, knowing the protections and picking up blitzers and being effective once they get out to catch the football and doing those things out of the backfield." 03/07/13WRAustin CollieKnee In an interesting interview with Sports Illustrated it was revealed that receiver Austin Collie might not run at full speed until October as he makes his way back from a ruptured right patellar tendon suffered in 2012. He's also upset with the stigma that he's concussion prone. "Honestly, it's getting to me. It's getting frustrating to deal with the perception, and this is like the first time I've admitted that," Collie said. "... Obviously from the public's view it's going to take a few years of not having anything go wrong, because if it does, people are going to be like, 'Oh, this kid's fragile again.' ... But when you really look at my career, for three of my four years in the league, I've had over 50 catches and 500 yards, and 2011 was the only year I suffered in the touchdown category, playing with three or four different quarterbacks. People think I've been gone the past three years because of concussions, or that all I've been doing is getting hurt. I can't do anything about the perception. All I'm looking for is a chance, because it's been kind of a perfect storm type of situation I've been dealing with. I'm ready for my luck to change." (Updated 03/07/2013)

06/05/13WRStephen HillKnee ESPN reports that Jets receiver Stephen Hill has a lot of work to do heading into training camp. The report says Hill "followed a disappointing rookie year with a drop-filled minicamp." Hill has dealt with a knee injury this offseason, which could have contributed to his poor minicamp. (Updated 06/17/2013)
02/06/13WRSantonio HolmesFoot Jets receiver Santonio Holmes told the official team website the Lisfranc injury he was diagnosed with was a Grade 4, which is the most serious kind, meaning a muscle tear and joint separation in his mid-foot. Screws and a plate were removed in a follow-up surgery in March, but he said two screws will remain in his foot permanently. Holmes hopes to be ready for the first day of training camp, but that seems overly ambitious, considering he still isn't running and cutting. (Updated 06/17/2013)
01/24/13TEDustin KellerAnkle In an interview with CBSSports.com, Dolphins receiver Brian Hartline said the addition of tight end Dustin Keller is big. Kelller signed as a free agent from the Jets this offseason. "His presence in the passing game is going to be huge," Hartline said. "You can see, kind of speaking hopefully for myself, we’re designing our offense through the passing game. Having a dynamic pass-catching tight end like Dustin Keller is important." (Updated 04/15/2013)
01/24/13DBDarrelle RevisKnee Bucs general manager Mark Dominik told NFL Network he expects cornerback Darrelle Revis to be ready for Week 1 against the Jets. Revis tore his ACL last September while playing for the Jets. "Fully confident," Dominik said. "He's in great shape right now. He's running full speed. He's cutting, he's doing all the things we wanted him to do from a training standpoint and a rehabilitation standpoint. We're going to keep him at our pace but the whole point is he'll walk out there the first day of training camp, he'll have pads on and he'll be ready for the Jets in Week 1. We're expecting that."
