02/06/13WRSantonio HolmesFoot Receiver Santonio Holmes did not attend the start of the Jets' voluntary offseason workouts Monday, instead choosing to work out and continue rehab on his own in Ohio, per the New York Daily News. Holmes is coming back from a Lisfranc injury on his left foot that he's already had two procedures on. (Updated 04/15/2013)
01/24/13TEDustin KellerAnkle In an interview with CBSSports.com, Dolphins receiver Brian Hartline said the addition of tight end Dustin Keller is big. Kelller signed as a free agent from the Jets this offseason. "His presence in the passing game is going to be huge," Hartline said. "You can see, kind of speaking hopefully for myself, we’re designing our offense through the passing game. Having a dynamic pass-catching tight end like Dustin Keller is important." (Updated 04/15/2013)
01/24/13DBDarrelle RevisKnee The New York Jets have traded star cornerback Darrelle Revis to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for this year's No. 13 overall draft pick and another selection next year, believed to be a conditional fourth-round choice. Following the deal Revis signed a new six-year contract reportedly worth $16 million per season with no guaranteed money. Revis, who is coming back from a torn ACL suffered last September, is expected to be ready for the Bucs' training camp. (Updated 04/21/2013)

05/17/13TERob GronkowskiForearm, back New England tight end Rob Gronkowski will undergo a fourth surgery on his left forearm Monday at Massachusetts General Hospital, the Boston Herald reports Sunday. Dr. Jesse Jupiter is expected to perform the surgery. A new plate is expected to replace the one already in his arm and he will begin a new 10-11 week recovery period. (Updated 05/19/2013)
05/07/13WRJulian EdelmanFoot The Boston Globe cites sources who say Patriots receiver Julian Edelman is back in a walking boot after re-injuring his right foot. He could be ready for a mid-June minicamp but would work in a limited capacity. (Updated 05/07/2013)
05/03/13WRJosh BoyceFoot ESPN reports that Patriots receiver Josh Boyce did not take part in the rookie-only minicamp Friday. Boyce, a fourth-round draft choice out of Texas Christian, was on the sidelines, presumably as he continues his recovery from a previously broken bone in his foot, which is believed to have been injured prior to the combine. While addressing the media earlier in the day, Boyce described his status as "day-to-day." Coach Bill Belichick wouldn't say if Boyce will play inside or outside when healthy. "We’ll see," Belichick said. "He’s a pretty smart kid, I think he learns well. We’ll see what he’s able to handle and what he’s able to execute on the field." (Updated 05/03/2013)
04/16/13TEAaron HernandezShoulder Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez had minor arthroscopic shoulder surgery two weeks ago according to the Boston Globe. There's a chance he could be ready for the team's June minicamp but expectations are he should be ready for the start of training camp. (Updated 04/16/2013)
04/01/13DBDevin McCourtyBack ESPN reports that Patriots defensive back Devin McCourty is working his way back from offseason back surgery. At this point it is unknown which shoulder McCourty had the surgery performed, though he played with a separated right shoulder in 2011. He should be ready by training camp, according to the report. (Updated 04/01/2013)
02/19/13TEJake BallardKnee The Boston Herald reports that Patriots tight end Jake Ballard is gradually making progress. Ballard is finally ready to hit the field, but the team is going to take it slow with him when the offseason program begins Monday. Ballard tore his ACL in the Giants’ victory against the Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI, and he is recovering nicely. But without the need to get overly aggressive, the Pats are taking the cautious approach. (Updated 04/15/2013)
01/30/13DLChandler JonesAnkles The Boston Globe reports Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones won't require surgery on either of his injured ankles, according to a team source. Jones hurt his right ankle against the Colts in Week 11 and his left ankle in the Divisional Playoffs vs. the Texans. (Updated 01/30/2013)
