04/27/16DLCameron JordanBackPROBABLEJordan (back), who underwent a minor arthroscopic procedure on his lower back in February, is not currently participating in OTAs but expects to be back by training camp, reports the New Orleans Times-Picayune. "We're playing it safe," Jordan said on Wednesday. "I can't give out a timetable for me coming back, but I do know that it will be well within camp season."

Jordan played through the back injury most of last season, occasionally missing practice time but never a game. Despite the lingering malady, he still managed to accrue 10 sacks and earn his second Pro Bowl appearance. While Jordan has a tendency to disappear -- he recorded only a single tackle four separate times in 2015 -- his consistent double-digit sack totals nevertheless make him a valuable IDP commodity.

04/27/16DBKeenan LewisKneePROBABLELewis underwent hip surgery Monday, The New Orleans Advocate reports.

Lewis was placed on season-ending injured reserve recently due to hip and knee complications, and had surgery on his hip labrum Monday to correct that ailment. The veteran will now aim to get healthy ahead of next season, while the Saints' porous defense tries to at least finish this season respectfully.

05/24/16RBDevontae BookerKneePROBABLEBooker claims that he is coming to Denver to "take someone's job," The Salt Lake City Tribune reports.

It's not entirely clear how Booker's remark will fly in the locker room, but starter C.J. Anderson has said that he was unbothered by it. Fantasy owners should like the chip on Booker's shoulder, though. Booker obviously has the skills Denver's front office like in a back, he was supposedly on their first-round shortlist, and a bevy of backs have succeeded in head coach Gary Kubiak's one-cut system. The team's investment in Anderson indicates that it might be hard for Booker to unseat him atop the depth chart in the short term, but the fact of the matter is that he will likel take someone's job this summer - if not Anderson, Ronnie Hillman or Juwan Thompson.

05/18/16QBMark SanchezThumbPROBABLESanchez's experience figures to give him an edge in the Broncos' starting quarterback competition, The Denver Post reports.

Sanchez, who had surgery to repair a torn ligament in his non-throwing hand's thumb earlier this month, participated in seven-on-seven and positional drills along with rookie Paxton Lynch and Trevor Siemian during OTAs this week. Although those two were also able to go through team drills, something Sanchez was unable to do, Sanchez's previous experience as an NFL starter bodes well for him going into training camp. That's when the Broncos' quarterback competition is expected to heat up, and despite not having started a Week 1 game since 2012, Sanchez's veteran status gives him the early leg up on Lynch and Siemian.
