A visit to an orthopedic surgeon has revealed that Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer is suffering from numbness over part of his outer shoulder, as well as weakness when he lifts his arm up and away from the body, according to Fox Sports.
The Cardinals have nine players listed on the injury report for Week 3. Punter David Zastudil (groin) and linebacker Alex Okafor (thigh) were the only players officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the 49ers.
Cardinals running back Jonathan Dwyer has been formally charged with assaulting his wife in two arguments in July at their Phoenix apartment, according to The Associated Press. Dwyer is facing charges of felony aggravated assault and eight misdemeanors.
Cardinals linebacker Daryl Washington has been suspended for the entire 2014 season for violating the league's substance-abuse policy. He was suspended four games last season for violating the same policy.
