The injuries require surgery. He hopes to be ready in time for Week 1. "I am going to set my mind to being ready for the first game of the regular season," said Hynoski. The defensive back tore an ACL for the third time in his playing career last summer; he hasn't played in an NFL game since 2010. Speculation is that the team will move him to safety. "My knee feels great," Thomas said per the official team website. "It was a little struggle at first. It was a little inconsistent with the swelling. But for the last month-and-a half I haven't dealt with any swelling at all. It's progressed the last two weeks since I started running. The doctors are really happy with the way I'm progressing.
