07/11/16RBKenyan DrakeHamstringPROBABLEJoining Drake (hamstring) and Jay Ajayi in the Miami backfield is veteran Arian Foster, who signed with the team Monday, the Palm Beach Post reports.

Drake, who the report describes as "a talented pass-catcher but unproven downhill runner," now faces added competition for touches in the Miami offense, with his fantasy upside taking a hit due to the fact that a (presumably) healthy Foster is a candidate to earn a good chunk of both carries and catches in the Dolphins' 2016 backfield.

07/11/16LBChris McCainKneePROBABLEMcCain (knee) season ended Tuesday as he was placed on IR, reports the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero.

McCain and Koa Misi were both placed on IR after the game Sunday. McCain's 2015 campaign ends with two whole tackles and a sack. Safe to say he won't be missed.

04/27/16DLDion JordanSuspensionSUSPENDJordan is not a lock to make the Dolphins squad out of training camp even if he is reinstated from his suspension, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.

Jordan is due a roster bonus of almost $1.7 million if he is still with Miami on the fifth day of training camp. That price may be to much to pay for a Miami club who really don't know how Jordan will play coming off a suspension. He may have to show an awful lot in quick order to assure the Miami brass that he is worth that roster bonus.

04/27/16DLCameron WakeAchilles PROBABLEWake (Achilles) was a participant in team drills Wednesday, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.

Wake had only participated in individual drills in front of the media prior to Wednesday. It was thought that Wake may not practice with the team until training camp but apparently the Achilles has healed enough that the doctors have cleared him. Those fantasy owners in IDP leagues that reward sacks heavily should not forget about Wake come draft time.

05/17/16RBArian FosterAchillesQUESTIONABLEThe Dolphins and Foster (Achilles) agreed to a contract Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

After getting a baseline on Foster's recovery from a torn Achilles in late March, the Dolphins' medical staff must have been impressed enough with his recovery on his second go-around Monday to give the front office the thumb's up. Considering his age (30 next month) and the fact he's nine months removed from the devastating injury, he'll more than likely ease into training camp. However, his competition includes two unproven products -- second-year back Jay Ajayi and rookie Kenyan Drake (hamstring) -- which provides a path to relevance for Foster. On the other hand, the final stages of Foster's rehab will ultimately dictate when he'll be able to make an impact.
