11/22/15LBAkeem DentHamstringOUTThe Texans will re-sign veteran linebacker Akeem Dent to a two-year contract, according to a report from ESPN's Josina Anderson
11/22/15DBKareem JacksonAnkleOUTJackson (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Jackson has now been ruled out of his fourth consecutive game after he was unable to practice at all Friday due to a sprained ankle. Kevin Johnson will likely get the start in place of the 27-year-old.

11/22/15DBJohnathan JosephKneeLEFTJoseph, who briefly left Sunday's win over the Jets to have his knee examined, downplayed the severity of the injury, calling it a bruise, the Houston Chronicle reports.

Joseph was able to finish off the game, making two tackles and recording two passes defensed in the win. We'll need to see if the knee flares up during the practice week as the Texans prep for a Week 12 game against New Orleans.

11/22/15RBChris PolkHamstringOUTPolk (hamstring) practiced fully Wednesday.

Polk is trending in the right direction, but as long as he's the No. 3 option (behind Alfred Blue and Jonathan Grimes) in the Texans' rushing attack, his fantasy utility will be limited to deeper formats.

11/26/15WRDez BryantFOOT, KNEEPROBABLEBryant (foot/knee) is listed as probable for Thursday's game versus the Panthers.

Bryant has been playing with a balky foot and knee the past two contests, but the return of Tony Romo on Sunday helped the wide receiver tally his second touchdown of the season. While he'll aim to keep up the pace, Bryant may find difficulty achieving that end against a Carolina defense that has allowed just 6.5 YPT and seven total touchdowns to WR this season.

11/26/15WRBrice ButlerHAMSTRINGPROBABLEButler (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game in Miami, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.

Set for a fourth consecutive absence, Butler is unlikely to have a key role at any point before the end of the season, as Dez Bryant, Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley are all relatively healthy.

11/26/15CBBrandon CarrSHOULDERPROBABLECowboys cornerback Brandon Carr underwent surgery on his broken hand Monday, reports the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
11/26/15SBarry ChurchANKLEPROBABLEChurch (ankle) is active for Sunday's contest at Miami, David Helman of the Cowboys' official site reports.

Playing through the residual effects of a high ankle sprain yet again, Church is one of the most reliable secondary members in terms of tackles, with 73 in nine outings. However, he has failed to factor into the turnover game in 2015, as he did in four of his first five seasons.

11/26/15CBMorris ClaiborneHAMSTRING, ANKLEOUTClaiborne (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game in Miami, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.

With Claiborne unavailable, Byron Jones figures to primarily work as a cornerback, which should free up some extra snaps for safeties Jeff Heath and J.J. Wilcox. Claiborne isn't particularly good, so his absence isn't cause to significantly downgrade the Dallas defense.

11/26/15DTNick HaydenANKLEPROBABLECowboys head coach Jason Garrett made it a point of emphasis to mention to reporters at the NFL Meetings that re-signing defensive lineman Nick Hayden was important, reports the Dallas Morning News.
11/26/15SJeff HeathSHOULDERPROBABLEHeath will not receive a fine from the league following his hit last week on Ricardo Lockette, ESPN Dallas reports.

He was flagged after a collision with Lockette on a punt return that sent the Seahawk to the hospital for eventual neck surgery, but the NFL reviewed the play and decided no further discipline on Heath was necessary.

    (Updated 11/07/2015)
11/26/15LBAnthony HitchensANKLEPROBABLEHitchens (ankle) is active Sunday against the Buccaneers, Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News reports.

After missing practice on Wednesday and Thurday, Hitchens put in a limited practice on Friday, so he'll see time at outside linebacker. However, he's only averaged 15 snaps over his last three contests, so he may not be a major factor against the Buccaneers.

    (Updated 11/15/2015)
11/26/15CBByron JonesANKLEPROBABLECowboys rookie cornerback Byron Jones will undergo an MRI on his injured shoulder, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Despite the MRI, Jones said he feels fine and has full range of motion in his shoulder.
11/26/15DEDemarcus LawrenceBACKPROBABLEThe Cowboys have listed the following players as inactive for Sunday night's Week 15 game against the Eagles: defensive tackle Josh Brent (calf), linebacker Dekoda Watson (hamstring), quarterback Dustin Vaughan, tackles Tony Hills and Donald Hawkins, defensive end Kenneth Boatright and defensive back Jakar Hamilton.
11/26/15LBRolando McClainFOOTPROBABLEMcClain (hand) is active Sunday against the Buccaneers, Brandon George of the Dallas Morning news reports.

McClain put in limited practices on Wednesday and Thursday before missing Friday's practice. He's averaged 51 snaps over the last three games and will help to slow down Doug Martin and the Buccaneers rushing attack.

    (Updated 11/15/2015)
11/26/15RBDarren McFaddenGROINPROBABLEMcFadden (groin) is listed as probable for Thursday's contest against the Panthers.

Since taking over the No. 1 RB role in Dallas in Week 7, McFadden has recorded three 100-yard rushing performances in five games, while recording between 20 and 32 touches in each outing. Given such a massive workload, he should be able to produce against a staunch Carolina defense that has conceded 120.5 total yards and seven touchdowns to running backs in 2015.

    (Updated 11/25/2015)
11/26/15QBTony RomoBACK, SHOULDERPROBABLERomo (back/shoulder) is listed as probable for Thursday's game against the Panthers.

Following his normal practice routine, Romo took part in drills the past two days, even logging a full showing Wednesday. Thus, he's set to take on a Carolina defense that has allowed eight total passing touchdowns to quarterbacks not named Aaron Rodgers this season.

11/26/15DERyan RussellABDOMENOUTThe Cowboys announced the signing of two draft picks.
11/26/15LBKyle WilberTOEPROBABLECowboys linebacker Kyle Wilber started four of the final five games on the strong side last year, making him the favorite to start at the position in 2014, reports the Dallas Morning News. Wilber, 25, appeared in every game and finished with 42 tackles, two sacks and 14 quarterback pressures.
