08/16/16DLMarcell DareusSuspensionSUSPENDDareus (suspension) has opted to leave the Bills in order to receive treatment. "After careful consideration of recent events within my life, I have made the decision to enter a rehabilitation facility," he said in a statement. "I feel this is the best decision for me, my family and my teammates as I move forward with my career. I appreciate the support of my teammates and the Bills organization through this process."

Earlier this week, Dareus received his second suspension for a violation of the NFL's Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse. Among other issues in his personal life, he'll extend his time away from the team with the aim of getting on the straight and narrow. If the defensive tackle indeed comes back to the Bills with a different state of mind, his pass-rushing prowess will be valuable, as he's notched 31.5 sacks in 78 career games.

08/16/16LBManny LawsonUpper bodyPROBABLELawson (pectoral) may be facing a one-game suspension for a domestic violence incident, Tim Graham of the Buffalo News reports.

The nature of Lawson's offense is unclear, as violations of the NFL's domestic violence policy are supposed to result in a minimum suspension of six games. The veteran outside linebacker was just activated from the Non-Football Injury list on Tuesday, after tearing his pectoral while lifting weights in the offseason. Between injuries and suspensions, the Buffalo front seven is already looking severely depleted.

08/10/16LBReggie RaglandKneeOUTRagland's knee has too much swelling for a clear diagnosis to made right now regarding the injury he suffered during last Friday's practice, NFL.com reports.

Ragland had an initial MRI that revealed what is believed to be a partial ACL tear, but was slated to get a second opinion Monday. However, since his knee is still pretty swollen, coach Rex Ryan could not give an update on his condition following practice. As a result, Ragland's situation will have to continue to be monitored, but Buffalo's signings of veteran linebackers Brandon Spikes and David Hawthorne on Sunday seem to indicate Ragland could be slated for an extended sideline stint.

08/08/16DLKyle WilliamsKneePROBABLEWilliams, who was activated off the PUP list Monday, has been practicing all week.

We'll see if Williams plays in the team's preseason opener Saturday, though there's a noticeable difference in the defense when Williams and Marcell Dareus are out there at the same time.

07/29/16WRKolby ListenbeeUndisclosedNFICoach Rex Ryan said Wednesday that Listenbee (hernia) is not close to returning to practice, BuffaloBills.com reports.

It's highly doubtful the super-fast sixth-rounder will be in the lineup come Week 1, so he's looking like a prime PUP or practice squad candidate.

08/20/16WRQuincy EnunwaHeadQUESTIONABLEEnunwa remains in the league's concussion protocol.

Enunwa suffered the concussion during Friday's preseason matchup with the Redskins and has been unable to pass through the league's mandated protocol. A concrete return date has yet to be given, which is unsurprising, considering these lasting symptoms vary greatly between players. He'll continue to sit out of practice and appears doubtful for Saturday's matchup with the Giants.

08/15/16RBMatt ForteHamstringPROBABLEForte's status for Saturday's preseason game against the Giants is still up in the air as he continues to recover from his hamstring injury, NJ.com reports.

With Forte unlikely to play in the final preseason contest, Friday is his last chance to get some game snaps in before Week 1. Head coach Todd Bowles said he'd like to get Forte into the game, but he obviously will keep him out unless he's 100 percent.

08/09/16DLMuhammad WilkersonLegPROBABLEWilkerson (leg) could play in Saturday's preseason game against the Giants, though the decision will likely be made close to kickoff, NJ.com reports.

Wilkerson has yet to play in a preseason game this summer, and with starters traditionally not playing in the fourth game, this would be his last opportunity to get game snaps in before Week 1.

08/08/16RBKhiry RobinsonLegPROBABLERobinson (lower leg) won't take the field for Thursday's preseason opener against the Jaguars.

Just three days removed since his activation from the PUP list, Robinson will be held out as he builds up his workload in advance of the regular season. While it's unclear if he'll log any exhibition snaps over the next month, he'll serve as one of Matt Forte's (hamstring) primary backups with Bilal Powell.

07/11/16DBDarrelle RevisWristPROBABLERevis (wrist) took part in team drills at Saturday's practice, Seth Walder of New York Daily News reports.

Revis has slowly built up his rep count as he recovers from offseason wrist surgery, but participation in the team portion of practice was the last hurdle in the rehab process. With the development behind him, he should resume his status as one of the NFL's top cover cornerbacks.

06/30/16DLSheldon RichardsonSuspensionSUSPENDRichardson (suspension) returned to practice Tuesday after a brief excused absence, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.

Richardson was excused from practice for personal reasons over the weekend by coach Todd Bowles, but was able to return Tuesday. The Jets will be without Richardson for Week 1 due to a suspension, but they should have their starting defensive end throughout the remainder of training camp.
