08/10/16WRSeth DevalveHamstringPROBABLEDeValve has been placed on the active/PUP list.

The rookie tight end will begin his first training camp on the sidelines as he nurses a hamstring injury. The timetable for the injury is still unknown.

07/28/16DLDesmond BryantChestNFIBryant (chest) has been placed on the injured reserve list and will sit out the entire season, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.

Entering his eighth NFL season and fourth with the Browns, Bryant was a lock to start at defensive end after a 2015 campaign which saw him record a career-high and team-leading six sacks. The torn pectoral muscle he suffered earlier this month was originally thought to keep him out 4-to-6 months, making November the soonest possible return date. Rather than push his recovery in the hopes of a return the team decided it best to shut him down for the season. Carl Nassib appears first in line to replace Bryant, but John Hughes and Dylan Wynn could see some extra snaps as well.

07/25/16WRJosh GordonSuspensionSUSPENDGordon (suspension) caught two passes for 87 yards and a touchdown (two targets) in Friday's preseason game against the Buccaneers.

According to Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon-Journal, Terrelle Pryor and Corey Coleman (hamstring) technically got the start, with Gordon then replacing the rookie for the second offensive snap. All three wideouts, along with Andrew Hawkins, ended up getting plenty of first-team work, but it was Gordon who clearly left the best impression. The 25-year-old snuck behind Brent Grimes on a double move to pick up 44 yards on the opening drive, then later outleapt Grimes for a 43-yard touchdown shortly before halftime. Gordon's lack of involvement in the time between might normally seem a bit concerning, but the Cleveland offense simply couldn't get anything going, with Robert Griffin ultimately taking five sacks on 19 dropbacks. Whatever issues the Browns offense might still need to work out, Gordon's first on-field appearance since 2014 left little doubt that his elite athleticism is in tact. He should emerge as Griffin's favorite target upon completion of his four-game suspension, though it is possible the Browns quarterback will develop chemistry with Coleman, Pryor and TE Gary Barnidge in the meantime.

07/11/16LBArmonty BryantSuspensionSUSPENDBryant (suspension) pleaded guilty to misdemeanor drug charges on Wednesday and could have his four-game suspension prolonged, Scott Petra of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Bryant was indicted in February on felony drug charges and originally pleaded not guilty, but changed his stance on Wednesday, pleading guilty to misdemeanor charges. As a result, the outside linebacker will receive 68 days probation which will expire on Oct. 3, the same day he is schedule to return from his original four-game suspension. However, now that Bryant has changed his plea, his case will yet again be reviewed under the league's policies, which could potentially lead to a lengthier suspension. Bryant recorded 5.5 sacks in 14 games in 2015.

08/16/16LBDeAndre LevyUndisclosedQUESTIONABLELevy (undisclosed) was removed from the Non-Football Injury list on Tuesday morning, ESPN.com reports.

While technically now available to practice, Levy won't necessarily do so Tuesday. He did suggest that he hopes to play in at least one preseason game, but the real goal will be to have him ready for Week 1. Even after missing all of last season with a hip injury and the first three weeks of training camp with an undisclosed issue, Levy possesses an IDP ceiling that's among the best in the league. Few linebackers possess a similar combination of run-stopping and coverage skills.

08/15/16LBJon BosticFootDOUBTFULBostic could miss significant time with an undisclosed injury, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

It is unclear what is wrong with the fourth year Florida product, but it appears his injury is relatively serious. Expect an update on his status when more information becomes available.

08/06/16TEEric EbronAchillesQUESTIONABLEEbron (ankle) will not play in Saturday's preseason game against the Ravens, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.

Ebron practiced Tuesday for the first time since early August, but he was then held out both Wednesday and Thursday. It's unclear if he suffered a setback, but if so, his Week 1 status may now be in danger. The 23-year-old tight end hasn't played in any preseason games and probably won't be ready for Thursday's exhibition finale against the Bills.
