10/26/16WRCorey ColemanHandQUESTIONABLEColeman (hand) remained limited at practice Thursday.

Coleman's return to the practice field is an encouraging development, but coach Hue Jackson indicated that it's unlikely Coleman will be cleared to play in advance of Sunday's game against the Jets. If the rookie wideout does sit out this weekend's action, he'd presumably target a return to the lineup in Week 9 against the Cowboys .

10/24/16DBMarcus BurleyHamstringQUESTIONABLEBurley (hamstring) was limited in practice Thursday.

Burley missed last week's contest, and without practicing in full yet this week, he could be on track to sit out Sunday's matchup with the Jets.

10/24/16WRSeth DeValveKneeQUESTIONABLEDeValve (knee) returned to practice in a limited capacity Wednesday.

DeValve has sat out the last four games after injuring his knee in practice, and now finds himself as the Browns' fourth-string tight end behind former practice squad signee Connor Hamlett. The rookie out of Princeton had only played 11 snaps before going down and doesn't figure to be involved going forward.

10/24/16DBJoe HadenGroinQUESTIONABLECoach Hue Jackson said Thursday that he expects Haden (groin) to be active for Sunday's game against the Jets, Ohio.com reports.

The Browns have consistently struggled to defend the pass, but Haden's return should shore up an iffy secondary, and with interception-prone Ryan Fitzpatrick coming to town, the 27-year-old cornerback could be a quality IDP play this week.

10/04/16WRJosh GordonSuspensionSUSPENDGordon will likely be released by the Browns, NFL.com reports.

As hinted by head coach Hue Jackson, the team no longer has any plans for Gordon, who will enter an in-patient rehab facility instead of returning from his suspension in Week 5. It's unclear how long Gordon will stay in the facility and when/if he plans to play again this season, but he should eventually draw interest around the league, unless he failed a drug test -- in which case he'd likely be suspended yet again.

07/31/16DBTrey CaldwellHamstringQUESTIONABLECaldwell suffered a hamstring injury during the onset of training camp, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

It's currently unclear whether the hamstring was merely tweaked or if Caldwell has suffered something worse. Either way, there has been no timeline provided for his return. When healthy, the Browns' fifth-round pick will compete for a role out of the slot.

07/28/16DLDesmond BryantChestOUTBryant (chest) has been placed on the injured reserve list and will sit out the entire season, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.

Entering his eighth NFL season and fourth with the Browns, Bryant was a lock to start at defensive end after a 2015 campaign which saw him record a career-high and team-leading six sacks. The torn pectoral muscle he suffered earlier this month was originally thought to keep him out 4-to-6 months, making November the soonest possible return date. Rather than push his recovery in the hopes of a return the team decided it best to shut him down for the season. Carl Nassib appears first in line to replace Bryant, but John Hughes and Dylan Wynn could see some extra snaps as well.

10/24/16LBDeAndre LevyQuadricepsOUTLevy (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Redskins, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.

Having not played since the season opener, Levy still hasn't participated in practice either and remains without an estimate for return.

10/24/16DLHaloti NgataShoulderQUESTIONABLENgata (shoulder) will not play Sunday against the Redskins, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.

Ngata was given a 2-3 week timetable for return prior to missing last week's game. Thus, there's evidently optimism he could return in Week 8.
