Buccaneers defensive end George Johnson appeared in a career-high 16 games in 2014 for the Lions, but he made no starts. He mostly was a rotational pass rusher last year, but the job seemed to suit him well, as he totaled a career-best six sacks.
Seferian-Jenkins saw the practice field on a limited basis each day this week, but the tight end actually ended up with a doubtful tag despite being listed as questionable in the previous three weeks. At this point, it's unclear if Tampa Bay is expecting the 23-year-old to return to the field some time during the regular season. In the meantime, the Buccaneers' tight end group will continue to be led by the likes of Luke Stocker and Brandon Myers. Out of those two, it will be Stocker who gets the starting nod.
