08/31/16RBThomas RawlsAnkleQUESTIONABLERawls' teammate Christine Michael has looked fantastic this preseason.

Rawls was great last year as a rookie and is ostensibly still the team's starting back. But given he's returning from an ankle injury and Michael has looked so good this preseason, there has to be some concern about the potential for a timeshare on early downs.

08/31/16DLJarran ReedToeQUESTIONABLEReed (toe) will not play in the Seahawks' final preseason game on Thursday.

Reed has been sidelined since suffering a toe injury during Seattle's second preseason tilt. However, he's expected to be ready for the team's regular season opener against the Dolphins.

08/28/16WRTanner McEvoyGroinQUESTIONABLEMcEvoy (groin) has a chance to play in the Seahawks' preseason finale on Thursday.

McEvoy suffered the groin injury in Seattle's third preseason contest. Already a long shot to make the roster, McEvoy is all but assured to be waived or placed on injured reserve if he's unable to lace up for Thursday's tilt.

08/24/16DLTavaris BarnesUndisclosedQUESTIONABLEBarnes was signed by the Seahawks on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Barnes spent the 2015 season in New Orleans with the Saints where he notched five tackles (three solo) in 12 contests. At this point he's a bit of a longshot to make Seattle's final roster.

08/24/16DBStanley Jean-BaptisteShoulderQUESTIONABLEJean-Baptiste (shoulder) has been placed on the Seahawks' waived/injured list.

Jean-Baptiste, signed onto Seattle's practice squad in December, reportedly injured his shoulder during Saturday's preseason opener against Kansas City. As for the Seahawks, this move creates space for the return of DT Tony McDaniels.

08/19/16TENick VannettAnkleQUESTIONABLEVannett (ankle) has yet to start running and could still be a week away from a return to field, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio KJR reports.

Vannett suffered the ankle injury during the second week of the preseason and has been sidelined ever since. He's yet to start running, which seems to indicate he's still a ways off from a potential return. He's expected to be out for at least another week, so Vannett should be considered questionable for the team's regular season opener versus the Dolphins on Sept. 11. Even when healthy, Vannett is only a depth option behind the likes of Jimmy Graham and Luke Wilson.

08/19/16LBK.J. WrightUndisclosedPROBABLEWright went back to Seattle's locker room with an undisclosed injury during Thursday's preseason game against the Vikings, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio KJR reports.

The extent of Wright's injury has yet to be determined, but the team's training staff removed him from the game and took him back to the locker room after he was shaken up in the second quarter of Thursday's tilt. A further update on Wright's injury figures to be made available after halftime.

08/16/16DLJordan HillGroinQUESTIONABLEThe Seahawks announced a several of roster moves on Tuesday, according to the Everett Herald. The team placed defensive tackle Jordan Hill on injured reserve with a calf injury. In a corresponding move, Seattle signed defensive back Steven Terrell off the practice squad to fill Hill's roster spot. Defensive tackle Jimmy Staten was also signed to the practice squad.
08/16/16LBMike MorganGroinPROBABLEMorgan will be available for Thursday's preseason matchup with the Vikings, Liz Mathews of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.

Morgan saw a specialist for a groin injury earlier in the week, but as expected, it's nothing too serious. He's expected to be available for Thursday's outing with the Vikings, which means he should be over the injury moving forward. Morgan currently projects to take on a starter's role during the upcoming season and he doesn't appear to be in danger of missing Week 1.

08/10/16TEJimmy GrahamKneeQUESTIONABLEAlthough he said Graham (knee) has been a full participant at recent practices, head coach Pete Carroll acknowledged that he won't have a good idea about the tight end's Week 1 availability until the final days leading up to the game, Liz Mathews of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.

Graham was activated from the PUP list Aug. 10 and returned to team work at practice last Wednesday. He'll conclude the preseason without any appearances, with everything suggesting that he's truly questionable for Week 1 against the Dolphins. Even if he plays, Graham probably won't be ready for a full starter's complement of snaps, perhaps being limited to passing downs and red zone work. Luke Willson figures to pick up the slack, with Nick Vannett (ankle) and/or Brandon Williams possibly chipping in.

    (Updated 08/31/2016)
08/04/16DBKam ChancellorGroinPROBABLEChancellor (groin) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Cowboys. Defensive coordinator Kris Richard said Tuesday, "He should be (available), and hopefully he will be, but it's still up in the air. He's had a few good days of practice, but we'll see."

Chancellor returned to practice on Tuesday after nursing a groin injury over the weekend, which kept him out of last Thursday's game against the Vikings. The Seahawks will likely exercise extreme caution when determining if their Pro Bowl safety will take the field on Thursday, with a decision likely to be made that morning. If he is held out, look for Kelcie McCray and Tyvis Powell to see increased reps.

    (Updated 08/24/2016)
08/04/16DLFrank ClarkCalfPROBABLEClark sat out Thursday's practice due to a calf injury, Liz Mathews of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.

Short of being confirmed as a calf injury, little is known about the severity of Clark's injury and as such he's without a return timetable. He played in 15 games for the Seahawks in what was his rookie year in 2015, totaling three sacks, two passes defensed, and 16 tackles. Montese Overton figures to see some added reps as long as Clark is sidelined.

    (Updated 08/04/2016)
08/04/16LBBrock CoyleObliquePROBABLECoyle was held out of Thursday's practice due to an oblique injury, Liz Mathews of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.

It's unclear how severe Coyle's injury is and he's currently without a timetable to return. He's likely competing for a role off the bench and on special teams once again. In 2015, he played just 1.5 percent of Seattle's defensive snaps, but 36.8 percent of the team's special teams snaps. Look for Steve Longa to see extra reps while Coyle is out.

08/26/16DLDamion SquareSuspensionSUSPENDSquare has been suspended four games by the NFL, the team's official site reports.

Square's suspension stems from a violation of the league's substance abuse policy. Early reports indicate that Square did not test positive for a specific substance, but the 27-year-old missed a scheduled test. Both Ryan Carrethers and Tenny Palepoi are likely to fill in during his absence.
