Amukamara (pectoral) said he is ready to return for Sunday's game against the Redskins, Jordan Raanan of NJ.com reports.
This isn't exactly surprising, after Amukamara managed limited practices leading up to the two games before the Giants' bye week. He'll likely return to full participation at some point this week, pushing Jayron Hosley back to a second-team role.
Donnell (neck) will not practice Wednesday, ESPN's Dan Graziano reports.
Donnell was cleared by team doctors to resume football activities Monday, so it's somewhat surprising to see the Giants list him as inactive on their pre-practice report. His game-time status should gain more clarity as the week progresses, so fantasy owners should check back in closer to Friday for more information.
49ers cornerback Leon McFadden is questionable to return to Saturday's Week 16 game against the Chargers due to a head injury, the team announced. McFadden had yet to record a tackle in Saturday's game at the time of his injury.
Unga (neck) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Patriots.
Jasper Brinkley will step in at middle linebacker, but he didn't get much playing time in nickel packages last week, so he isn't a recommended IDP option for Sunday's game against the Patriots. Unga won't necessarily have an every-down role once he's healthy.
Irvin (knee) is inactive Sunday against the 49ers.
Irvin (knee) was listed as out earlier in the week, so this news comes as no surprise. Expect both Mike Morgan and Kevin Pierre-Louis to take over duties at strong side linebacker in Irvin's absence. The Seattle defense should be just fine without him at home against the 49ers offense.
Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is expected to need "a couple weeks to see how he does" and "to see if he can recover" from his abdominal injury, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
While the Seahawks have not provided official word as to Lynch's status following his visit to a specialist, it sounds like they may be content to ride it out for a few weeks and see if Lynch can avoid sports hernia surgery. Schefter reported earlier Tuesday that Lynch will likely miss Week 12. Thomas Rawls is locked in as the primary running back for Seattle while Lynch is out.
Richardson (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the 49ers.
Richardson made his first appearance of the season Sunday against the Cardinals, hauling in a 40-yard pass on his only target. His good fortune didn't last long, as he suffered a hamstring injury on the play and stumbled before reaching the end zone. Even when healthy, Richardson probably won't get enough snaps to warrant fantasy consideration.
