08/29/16WRKendall WrightHamstringQUESTIONABLEWright (hamstring) had a high fever Tuesday, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.

The week is off to a terrible start for Wright, who returned to practice Monday for the first time in a month, only to aggravate the same injury that wiped out his training camp. He said Monday's aggravation was far less severe than the initial injury, but it's unclear if Wright's hamstring would have allowed him to practice Tuesday, as an illness prevented him from testing it out. Even if everything checks out before Week 1, the 26-year-old wideout only figures to serve as Tennessee's No. 3 wide receiver, primarily working out of the slot. Rishard Matthews and Tajae Sharpe are expected to start on the outside.

08/28/16TEDelanie WalkerIllnessPROBABLEWalker, who needed an hour to catch his breath after leaving Saturday's preseason tilt against the Raiders, had congestion in his chest at the time and is fine, per coach Mike Mularkey.

Mularkey noted that Walker should practice Monday, which seems to confirm the notion the issue the tight end dealt with Saturday is not something that should impact his fantasy standing moving forward.

08/19/16LBAaron WallaceAnklePROBABLEWallace (ankle) returned to practice Friday, Jim Wyatt of Titans Online reports.

Wallace suffered a high ankle sprain during practice in early August, forcing the rookie to the sideline for a matter of weeks. The Titans take on the Panthers in their second preseason contest Saturday, but Wallace may not be ready to return to game action at this point. His next opportunity to play would be the following Saturday in Oakland.

08/17/16DBMarqueston HuffSuspensionSUSPENDHuff has been suspended one game for a violation of the NFL's Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.

Huff has played 63 and 81 percent of the special teams snaps for the Titans in his first two professional campaigns, respectively. Along the way, the safety has accrued 33 tackles (22 solo), four passes defended, one interception for a touchdown, and one sack in 30 career games. After missing the Titans' season opener on Sept. 11 against the Vikings, Huff will be eligible to play in Week 2 at Detroit.

08/14/16DBPerrish CoxAnkleQUESTIONABLECox (ankle) returned to practice Monday, Jim Wyatt of titansonline.com reports.

Cox injured his ankle a little over two weeks ago, but after some rest and rehab, it appears Tennessee's starting cornerback is good as new. In his first season with the Titans last year, Cox started 13 games, so it's reasonable for Tennessee to expect the 29-year-old to take on a bigger role in the secondary this season.

08/11/16DBCody RiggsConcussionQUESTIONABLERiggs won't play in Saturday's game against San Diego as he continues to go through the team's concussion protocol, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.

The 24-year-old has not been cleared to play since suffering a blow to the head during Tuesday's practice. Riggs' absence from Saturday's game could prove to all but kill his chances of making the Titans' roster week one. Currently, Riggs finds himself buried beneath Tennessee's depth chart in the secondary.

08/09/16LBNate PalmerRibsPROBABLEPalmer has been released by the Packers, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Palmer started 10 games at inside linebacker last season, registering 68 tackles for the Packers. However, with then-rookie Jake Ryan eventually taking his starting gig, and fellow linebacker Sam Barrington slated to return this season, Palmer became more expendable, even if his position is still one the Packers will likely address in the draft.

07/29/16WRAndrew TurzilliSuspensionSUSPENDTurzilli is dealing with both a groin and thumb injury, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.

It's unclear exactly when he suffered the injuries, but it's likely going to keep him limited for the time being. The Titans face off with the Panthers on Saturday in the team's second preseason outing, so it remains questionable whether or not Turzilli will be available. Turzilli is suspended for the first four games of the season for his use of performance-enhancing substances, making the injury just another hit to his chances of making the final roster.

    (Updated 08/17/2016)
04/08/16LBDerrick MorganShoulderPROBABLEMorgan (shoulder) may not be ready when the Titans begin OTA's in May, John Glennon of The Tennessean reports. "Morgan may be a question mark for OTAs. He may be limited. We'll be smart with him," said coach Mike Mularkey on Wednesday.

Morgan underwent season-ending surgery in December after he suffered a torn labrum in October. He will continue to rehab his shoulder in the meantime and it will become increasingly clear as the offseason progresses whether or not he'll be able to participate in OTAs in May.

08/30/16DBEarl WolffHamstringQUESTIONABLEWolff (hamstring) was waived/injured by the Jaguars on Monday, The Florida Times-Union reports.

Wolff sustained a hamstring injury after playing just three snaps in Jacksonville's preseason victory over Cincinnati on Sunday. The safety faced long odds at making the team anyway, but could be stashed on IR if he clears waivers.

08/28/16WRArrelious BennCollarboneDOUBTFULThe Eagles released wide receiver Arrelious Benn with an injury settlement, according to ESPN on Saturday. Benn suffered a concussion in the third week of preseason, but it was a back injury that caused him to land on the injury reserve to start the season before he was officially waived by Philadelphia.
08/20/16DLMichael BennettHipQUESTIONABLEBennett (hip) was sidelined for Saturday's preseason affair with the Buccaneers, John Oehser of jaguars.com reports.

The Ohio State product has been underwhelming in the early going. Although he appeared in 13 games for the Jaguars last season, Bennett was only able to tally 10 combined tackles. The revamped Jaguars defense is hoping that a healthy Bennett could be a solid return on investment during the regular season.

    (Updated 08/20/2016)
08/17/16WRBryan WaltersUndisclosedPROBABLEWalters left Wednesday's practice with an undisclosed injury, Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union reports.

Walters is in his second year with the Jaguars, after compiling 32 receptions for 368 yards and touchdown last season. He's currently battling for a roster spot with the team, so it's an untimely injury for the 28-year-old wide receiver. The severity of the injury remains unclear, but his status for Thursday's practice is up in the air.

    (Updated 08/17/2016)
08/13/16DLSheldon DayBackPROBABLEDay (back) participated in practice Tuesday for the first time since earlier in August, John Oehser of Jaguars.com reports.

Day has been injured for the past few weeks, but could still make the final roster given he performs well throughout the rest of the preaseason and gets back to full health. He won't have much IDP value, as he's buried on the defensive line depth chart.

    (Updated 08/30/2016)
08/13/16DBNick MarshallAnklePROBABLEMarshall (ankle) did not practice Saturday, John Oehser of Jaguars.com reports.

The severity of Marshall's ankle injury is a bit unclear at this point, but he was held out of the Jaguars practice Saturday as a precaution. He's buried on the team's depth chart at cornerback, so he'll have to battle throughout the rest of training camp for a more prominent role.

    (Updated 08/13/2016)
08/12/16WRTony WashingtonConcussionQUESTIONABLEWashington left Thursday's preseason opener against the Jets to undergo concussion protocol, John Oehser of Jaguars.com reports.

Washington is currently competing for a roster spot with the Jaguars. Heading into Thursday's game he projected as the seventh wide out on the team's depth chart.

    (Updated 08/11/2016)
08/08/16DLMalik JacksonAnkleQUESTIONABLEJackson dropped 12 pounds between OTA's and the start of training camp, Jacksonville.com reports.

Jackson, who signed a six-year deal with the Jaguars this offseason worth up to $85.5 million, said he spoke with coaches during OTA's and took their advice to heart. "The two things they talked to me about before we left for our break was losing weight and my cardio," Jackson said. "Coach Wash pulled me aside and said that's what I needed to work on." The 26-year-old played at around 308 pounds in 2015, when he recorded 5.0 sacks and 45 combined tackles, helping to lead the Broncos to a Super Bowl victory. As the headliner of a seven-man Jags free agent class, expectations will be high for Jackson, but head coach Gus Bradley is pleased with what he's seen thus far. "He has done a good job," Bradley said Friday. "I'll tell you what, he does a good job working on the edge. You know when you see him on a guard. Good technique and conditioning, he plays on the edge a little bit more and he shows some rushing."

    (Updated 08/01/2016)
08/08/16DLJared OdrickFootQUESTIONABLEThe Jaguars officially signed defensive tackle Jared Odrick on Wednesday, per the team's official website. Odrick will reportedly make $8.5 million per season with $22 million guaranteed.
08/04/16DBDavon HouseHamstringPROBABLEHouse (hamstring) sat out of Saturday's practice as he continues to nurse a hamstring injury.

House is considered day-to-day with the injury, which caused him to sit out of practice on Thursday. Until he returns, look for Dwayne Gratz and Prince Amukamara to lead the team in reps in practice.

    (Updated 08/13/2016)
07/29/16WRJustin BlackmonSuspensionSUSPENDBlackmon (suspension) was handed a one-year suspended sentence and probation Wednesday, stemming from a misdemeanor DUI, the Florida Times-Union reports.

Taken fifth overall in the 2012 NFL Draft by the Jaguars, Blackmon hasn't played in an NFL game since being suspended indefinitely back on Nov. 1, 2013 for a violation of the league's substance abuse program. Though he remains listed on Jacksonville's roster, the the 26-year-old wideout seems increasingly unlikely to play for the team again.

    (Updated 08/24/2016)
07/29/16DBAaron ColvinSuspensionSUSPENDColvin (suspension) returned to practice Wednesday, Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union reports.

Colvin was dealing with an ankle injury and had been sidelined since the team's preseason opener. He was back on the field Wednesday and should be available for Saturday's matchup with the Buccaneers. Colvin is suspended for the first four games of the regular season for taking performance enhancing substances, but he should be back to full strength by then.

    (Updated 08/17/2016)
04/08/16LBTelvin SmithShoulderPROBABLESmith (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Texans.

The 2014 fifth-rounder finishes up his 2015 season with a fantasy-friendly 128 tackles, to go along with 2.5 sacks and a pick in 14 games. He's on track to reprise his starting outside linebacker role for the Jags in 2016, an assignment that will make Smith -- whose shoulder issue will not require offseason surgery -- worthy of continued IDP utility next year.

    (Updated 01/01/2016)
02/24/16DLDante FowlerKneePROBABLEThe Jaguars have finalized the process of ending the season of defensive end and top pick Dante Fowler by placing him on injured reserve.
02/16/16DLSen'Derrick MarksTricepsPROBABLEMarks (triceps) returned to practice on Friday for the Jaguars' final day of OTAs, Hays Carlyon of the Florida Times-Union reports.

Marks was a participant during individual drills for the first time this offseason after suffering torn triceps during November of the 2015 campaign, leading to an injured reserve designation. "It felt good just getting back, trusting the process, going out and not having any hiccups," Marks said Friday regarding his return to the practice field. The 6-foot-2, 294-pound veteran also believes he'll be a full participant for training camp, which begins in late July. He's expected to receive a lighter snap load throughout the 2016 regular season regardless, one reason being the addition of Malik Jackson in free agency.
