2013 NFL Combine: Shamarko Thomas eats it, still runs 4.38 40
Shamarko Thomas ate it after his 40 run. The good news is he still managed to post a 4.38 unofficial time.
We're seeing some really, really fast times from the defensive back class at the 2013 NFL Combine on Tuesday. One of those fast times came from Syracuse safety Shamarko Thomas.
Thomas clocked a 4.38 40 time (unofficial) and it's made even more impressive by the fact that Thomas, at the end of his run, completely ate it, face-first into the ground.
Props to Thomas for getting right back up. That looks like it hurt and might easily be the most embarrassing moment of his life.
"His friends are blowing up his phone right now," Deion Sanders said on NFL Network.
No question about it. The good news? Thomas gets one more run and falling down is a lot easier to deal with when you post a fast time like 4.38.
