Antrel Rolle unhappy with snub, tweets Pro Bowl is 'a joke'

All-Star Games often brings out the angriest in people. And with the announcement of the 2014 Pro Bowl selections (the rosters will be determined on January 22 via draft) it's natural that some NFL players feel snubbed.

Giants safety Antrel Rolle is definitely one of those players, taking to Twitter and calling the Pro Bowl "a joke" while arguing he's got the best numbers of all safeties.

Rolle was "snubbed" in favor of a trio of talented strong safeties. The Seahawks Kam Chancellor, the Chiefs Eric Berry and the Steelers Troy Polamalu all made it over Rolle.

And Rolle might have a point. He has six picks, two sacks, 11 pass deflections and a forced fumble. His raw stats are substantially better than the guys who made the Pro Bowl over him. That doesn't tell the whole story

There's a pretty good shot of Rolle making it as an alternate. But that probably won't do much to make him feel any better.
