Alshon Jeffery played in Brandon Marshall's shadow a season ago but he's making a case in 2013 for not only the best wideout on his team, but one of the NFL's best receivers.
The latest proof: His third-quarter touchdown grab that had color commentator and former coach Brian Billick making comparisons to Calvin Johnson. Usually, we'd reflexively dismiss such talk as hyperbole but Billick might be underselling Jeffery, who is having a career day.
There's more:
Jeffery is the 1st #Bears receiver in history to record more than one 200-yd receiving game in the same season. #CHIvsMIN

In related news, Vikings cornerback Chris Cook, in coverage on the play, was promptly ejected after he contacted an official. That's one way to guarantee he won't have to cover Jeffery for the rest of the afternoon.
