Bills WR Sammy Watkins practices without limitations Monday
Good news for Bills fans. It appears as though Bills rookie receiver Sammy Watkins' ribs are feeling better.
Good news, then, on Monday, as Buffalo coach Doug Marrone said that Watkins practiced Monday without any limitations. Presumably, this means Watkins will be healthy and ready to play in Week 1.
Watkins practiced last week, but he was limited and he didn't play vs. the Buccaneers in preseason game No. 3.
Either way, the news Monday is optimal for the Bills, though we still would be surprised to see Watkins get any significant time during the team's final preseason game Thursday. Yet, Marrone also said quarterback EJ Manuel and a few other offensive starters will see action vs. the Lions.
We imagine that won't include Watkins.
