The Bristol County Sheriff confirmed on Tuesday night that Aaron Hernandez was involved in an altercation on Tuesday while being held in jail.
The news was rumored early in the day with a report from TMZ. Bristol Sheriff Thomas Hodgson told WJAR-TV in Rhode Island that Hernandez was involved in an "altercation" at the Bristol County House of Corrections, but would not provide details.
