Browns schedule two more interviews, Seattle's Quinn in mix
The Browns plan to interview Bills defensive coordinator Mike Pettine and Falcons offensive coordinator while Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn still remains in the hunt.
The Cleveland Browns have two interviews scheduled for now this week, while Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn still remains very much in the hunt for their head coaching job.
Quinn is preparing for the Super Bowl, and in the meantime, owner Jimmy Haslam and team president Joe Banner have scheduled a second interview with Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Mike Pettine. They will also speak with Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter as well, according to league sources.
There is nothing else on their docket and after these interviews, they plan to regroup and make a decision on their new head coach. Quinn was the first person their interviewed and he has been someone they were high on through the process. And Pettine had a strong interview last week.
So far the team has interviewed New England Patriots coordinator Josh McDaniels, Arizona Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles (who withdrew), former Green Bay Packers quarterbacks coach Ben McAdoo, former Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Munchak, and Dallas Cowboys special teams coach Rich Bisaccia.
