Browns WR Greg Little has noticed the offseason DUI's
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Greg Little took to Twitter on Thursday to weigh in on the rash of DUI's the NFL has experienced this offseason.
The Cleveland Browns probably aren't encouraging their players to weigh in on every controversial offseason matter, but it sure seems that way. One day after Dion Lewis tackled the topic of Aaron Hernandez, wide receiver Greg Little decided to weigh in on the recent spate of DUIs.
Off season of the DUIs sheesh!— Greg Little (@Str8UpGlittle) July 11, 2013
Little tweeted that out on Thursday morning after news of Alfonzo Dennard's DUI became public. Little clearly isn't just referring to Dennard's DUI, though. He's referring to everyone who has been charged with DUI since the NFL season ended in February.
That list includes Dennard and two Broncos front-office executives in July alone.
Little's innocuous DUI tweet probably wouldn't have garnered much attention if not for what Lewis tweeted on Wednesday. Weighing in on the Hernandez case, Lewis tweeted, "Aaron Hernandez homie snitched on him lol. #urrealfriends"
Lewis quickly deleted the tweet. But because this is the Internet, it still exists and you can see it here. As for Little, he seemed to realize the social media ramifications of his DUI tweet, but it doesn't seem like he plans on deleting it.
Well I guess that DUI tweet was a bad idea— Greg Little (@Str8UpGlittle) July 11, 2013
If you want to hear more from Little on Twitter, you can follow him here. And keep in mind, he doesn't just limit himself to comments about offseason DUI's. He also offers commentary on A&E television shows:
