Bucs OC Jeff Tedford to miss time following medical procedure
The Bucs are down an offensive coordinator following the news that Jeff Tedford would miss time following a medical issue.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Lovie Smith said offensive coordinator Jeff Tedford was "resting comfortably" after having a medical procedure performed Monday morning and there was no exact timetable for a return.
Tedford will "be out a short period of time," Smith said, adding that more information should be available tomorrow. The Bucs close out the preseason on Thursday and face Carolina in Week 1.
Smith said the entire staff will come together to fill the void while Tedford is out. Tedford is in his first year with this staff. Also on Monday the team worked out former Dolphins guard Richie Incognito, who was at the center of a bullying controversy last season.
