With four playoff games in the books, here are some of the most interesting numbers to emerge from the wild-card round of the postseason this past weekend.
0: The number of games before Sunday that San Francisco has played under coach Jim Harbaugh in which the gametime temperature was 32 degrees or colder, via Ed Werder. The temperature Sunday was 5 degrees at kickoff with a wind chill of minus-10.
1: The number of road playoff victories in Saints history. They, of course, got their first Saturday vs. the Eagles.
3: The number of punters the Bengals have played in the past four weeks. After Kevin Huber was destroyed on a punt return, Cincinnati used Shawn Powell in Weeks 16 and 17. But after a 10-yard shank last week, the Bengals signed Zoltan Mesko last week and used him Sunday.
4: The number of touchdowns thrown by Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith vs. the Colts; he's the first ever to do that without throwing an interception while still losing the game, via Elias Sports.
4-0: The all-time Super Bowl record for former Steelers coach Chuck Noll, the only coach ever to win that many Super Bowls. Sunday also was his 82nd birthday, via Ed Bouchette.
5: The number of consecutive drives in which the Chiefs scored to open their game Saturday. It was the most of any playoff squad since 2004.
6: The number of pass attempts made by Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers in the first half. According to the CBS broadcast, that's a career low.
8: The number of consecutive playoff games the Chiefs have lost, breaking the record they had shared with the Lions for the longest playoff skid in NFL history, via Adam Schefter.
8-1: The record for the Bengals at home this year. After going undefeated during the regular season, they lost to the Chargers on Sunday.
10: The number of career playoff quarters Andy Dalton needed before he finally threw his first postseason touchdown.
10-2: The record of Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers when the temperature is below 40 degrees, via Matt Money Smith.
28: The number of points the Colts fell behind on Saturday before coming back and winning the game. It's the second-largest comeback in NFL playoff history.
42: The number of yards gained by Colin Kaepernick on his season-high run in the second quarter vs. the Packers. Kaepernick, you'll recall, rushed for 181 yards in last year's playoff win vs. the Packers.
89: The number of points scored between the Chiefs and Colts, the third-highest score in an NFL playoff game in history. Only the Arizona-Green Bay wild-card game from 2009 (96 points) and the Philadelphia-Detroit wild-card game from 1995 (95) featured more, via NFL Communications.
90-90-1: The career coaching record of Cincinnati's Marvin Lewis during his time with the Bengals. That includes an 0-5 playoff record, which is behind only Jim Mora's 0-6 record when it comes to the worst postseason coaching record of all time.
1,049: The number of yards the Colts and Chiefs combined for Saturday. That breaks the old NFL playoff record of 1,038, via ESPN Stats Info.
